Two Clowns
In a Village of Light Diego's other car is a Porsche but we can't drive it too much...he and others say there is too much resentment here for that kind of car to be in public...That's a relief to James because Diego has in the past been driven by the machine rather than drive it. The machine. He says he was clean and sober before I got there. Then he started to party. He got very blue pill on James. The thing about partying is to remember your Source in the middle of it. All chemically induced partying is a substitute for the feeling of Source. It's the soma of Brave New World and put square under the Agents control--that's what the Agents in the Matrix want. They don't want anyone to drop into the mainframe. So many don't get this and numb themselves out to what is within. They call this "happiness". Some very few of these have taken the red pill but pretend they've taken the blue pill. We have been traveling into the interiors of this territory, also.
Diego's aquaintance Marco desribes Guatemala as having a lot of resentment, hatred, and violence. Marco is the son of the last President.
Great,

Diego plays air guitar thinks "James".
Diego just bought a VW from the 80's...the Porshe broke down on the ancient rocky streets of Antigua...cool VW...
So here writing posthaste AGAIN in Guatamala City...James and Diego in thier clown roles call it, Guatemala Silly. James's nephew, a pilot for Delta airlines now, has that same problem and calls is Guatemala Silly too. It kind of rolls out of the mouth that way after a few beers. James never knew any city in the world was named Guatemala City before this trip.
Whenever you see a photo of James and Diego on this blog, don't forget to put the little red clown noses on their faces.
But seriously folks, there is something we have lost in America. We have lost our clowns.
Somewhere, we became too squemish and they became creepy. But clowns have a very important function, they show up when we have made something important. They show us that we can laugh at how dreadfully important we make EVERYTHING!
Even on the street corners in Guatemala City, you see little boys and girls dressed up in clown costumes, or jugging oranges, all for a quetzales or two. Quetzalas is

There goes the Neighborhood! the money used in Guatemala, their pesos one might say, and are named after the national bird, an extremely colorful parrot what lives in the deep jungles, the Quetzales Bird.
OK, QUETZALES. It's pronouced, KET-SAL-ES
Some just stand at the corners, or in the middle of the road, waiting for a hand- out, playing the victim role, you might say...and then these kids jump in with their clown noses and juggle and they give you a smile. A smile is worth paying for in busy traffic.
James´s Spanish is improving in expensive restaurantes. (Diego just told James how to spell Porsche)
Of Antigua...Antigua is world reknowned for its Spanish Language Schools. Classes may last from two weeks to more than a month. Each student has one teacher. Classes may cost as much as $150.00 US per week. The beauty of the place like the finest cities in Southern Spain. It´s a small town, lots of Europeans. The Europeon women are harder to talk with than the Austrailians and English. International school, for Spanish.
So James is in Guatamala City for an errand with Diego before return to Antigua and writing on a keyboard that is
