Exploring manglars, and the beach

Was a lazy morning starting out but finally headed out to the manglar on the property. We watched kingfishers really working the water, toucans, caracara and boatbills. There were three caiman in evidence this morning. We watched one of them hunting and it appeared to be stalking a turtle. Was unsuccessful in the hunt while we were watching.

Walked from the manglar out onto the beach and walked as far as we could before we got stopped by a creek. We were both in our boots and did not feel like taking them off and dealing with the sand when it was time to put them back on.

Back to the dentist for the last bit of work for me.
