Hi Everybody!
We arrived in Costa Rica yesterday and found it to be a beautiful country. The tourism industry is better developed here. It is a great place to visit. This morning, I took a Canopy Tour. I went several miles outside of Jaco, the beach town where we are staying. A tractor pulled a wagon with about 25 people in it to the top of a nearby mountain. The views of the Los Suenos Resort, marina, Herradura bay and the Nicoya Gulf were spectacular. We had on hard hats and many cables. We descended the mountain via a series of zip lines to 14 platforms (attached to very tall trees) and 14 cables. The longest cable was 2400 feet. I was too nervous to observe the wildlife. lives in Jaco. He helped us negotiate taxis, buses, etc. as we made our way to Jaco. Billy has a business where he takes tourists snorkeling, spearfishing in the Jaco area. He charges $40 a day. I told him that I would give him a plug in my blog in case anyone is headed this way. His number is 83737549.
Are we glad that we took this trip? Absolutely! Would we do it again? Never!! Would we recommend that you take this trip? No, unless you are a masochist!!!
Take care,
