Last night at Arenal Green
We felt like one of the family, Herman treated us like one of his own. We left La Fortuna on Sunday with great sadness, our cabina there was fantastic and we felt like we were part of the family.
Rain starts now! We´ve had excellent weather until today, it´s currently raining but we´re going to make the best of it by lounging around in our hammocks, drinking coffee, reading books, napping by the ocean and maybe going to Bed Bath and Beyond, I don´t know if we´ll have enough time. Not too bad for a Tuesday afternoon!
Puerto Viejo is on the south Caribbean side, just 20 miles north of Panama. There´s definitely an Afro-Caribbean vibe going on here. Our hotel here is wonderful! It´s right on the beach and the staff is awesome. There´s a fully stocked beer fridge open to all guest that works on the honor system, how can you go wrong with a place like this¿ Yesterday we rented bikes from our hotel and decided to take a 7 mile bike ride down the coast. We thought we´d have an easy ride until we hopped on two of the saltiest sea bikes we´ve ever seen. Peddling through the potholes wasn´t quite the adventure we were looking for but the beautiful
Zip lines!
Becca couldn´t get enough! Some of these lines were a mile long. Carribean coast made up for it.
On a positive note the food here amazing, best food we´ve had since we´ve been here.
Here´s some more pics for ya!
