Its Sunday morning and I have just tripped over and stubbed my toe on a rock. It hurt. But I didn't cry. Life is funny sometimes. When you're a child and you hurt yourself you cry. When you're an adult and you hurt yourself you have the maturity to tell yourself that everything will be ok. As a child it seems like your life could be over any minute when an injury occurs. Adults have the ability to put things into perspective, look at the bigger picture and to think of lifes problems in a more realistic way. This is exactly what I did with this particular injury on the morning of Sunday the 16th. It didn't effect my day all that much. It was time to leave Mal Pais. In my head I'd planned on making my way to Nosara but typical me I hadn't really thought about it too much and by the time I woke up the bus had already left. So i booked another night which at the time was totally depressing because I really wasn't that keen on staying. The Quebeckers and French were leaving for Tamarindo and I was stuck in Mal Pais, not a huge disaster but enough to make me very frustrated! To distract myself I did some washing. It didn't really help. It may sound strange but I really couldn't be bothered making decisions that day. Life is tough I know.
