Costa Rica Time

This time we are not going to get ripped off crossing a border! Matt and I packed all our stuff then headed out. With quick stops at the bank and market, we proceeded to barter with all the taxi drivers for a good price to the border. Finally we got one for 5 dollars and three of us hopped in. At the border we almost got taken for the same ticket twice, but got our money back and moved on. The lines were fairly long and the whole process took about two hours hassle free! Instead of waiting for the bus on the other side, we jumped into a cab to Liberia. With six of us, we bartered a six dollar fair. Now that we have arrived in Costa Rica, I am sure my parents are waiting in eager anticipation for us to barge in on their holiday 😊. I know they only have a week so we will only bother them for one day. Liberia isn't too bad but it is really hot so we wandered around town, said goodbye to our Irish friend Mag, then headed to our shady hostel for the night. It's a crummy little place and I don't know how clean it is. With luck we will survive the night and move on in the morning. Buenos Noche
