We have had a couple of short trips to Straddie the last couple of months .... and one to Q1 in Surfers Paradise. Next short visit will be to Miles. We have caught up with a few Nieces and Nephews lately at various events. Hope you continue to have safe travels. Cheers Phil & Pam.

Gallipoli Loved the photos of Gallipoli, very interesting comments, as you say "How did any Aussies survive, quite amazing and so very brave. We are exhausted tonight, went for a long walk with Jackson this morning after discovering the amazing bush walks and bike trails very close to home, never knew we had them. Been helping Shawn all day measuring and cutting decking board. look forward to the next blog Jean x

Travel Blogs Vince & Pauline - good to have more travel updates after a bit of a lull - you seem to be having an interesting adventure - have settled into life at Sippy Downs - have been going to the Maroochydore Botanical Gardens of a Tuesday and doing some fairly hard work at times. Have joined U3A and really only got into one course. Kathy is looking for a job still but lots of people up here are in the same situation. Looking forward to your next blog. Regards, James & Kathy
Greetings from top of the range Hello Van and Pat, I'm enjoying your blogs.
It's university exam time in this part of the world, so Tim and Therese are in the thick of it. Then they will be home for a month.
Moira had exams last week and is home this week, then back at Tweed Heads from next week until end of October.
Peter and I had a week away at the end of May. Peter had a 3 day conference in Cairns, then we flew via Darwin to Groote Eylandt for four days with Claire and Ben. A rocky, sandy, shrubby island. Ben gave us a tour of the Manganese processing plant. We went bush and saw some Aboriginal cave paintings. Overall had a nice stay.
We have actually had a bit of rain over the past two days - 17ml in total! Clear skies again today ( after the obligatory Fog! ).
All's well here. Hope you are both keeping well.
Love Josephine and Peter.
Hi Thank you for the Toowoomba update.
I decided to start this blog to record things as I observe. Invariably when we are away I hear touch smell or see things that I want to tell the world about. but when I get home it becomes lost in the events of home.
So I started recording things as they happen and can publish via this website .
Out of expediency, I did not include nieces and nephews in this subscription list .
However they are all welcome to view the page or to subscribe.
Good to hear exams are being done by someone other than me.
Cheers
Vince
Gidday P & V good to read your blog - very interesting - had Phil & Pam here last W/E - all is well and starting to become involved in the local community. James & Kathy
