In 2009, I went on an unforgettable week-long trip to Egypt that left a mark on my travel adventures. The trip began as I boarded a flight from Johannesburg, South Africa, on Air Egypt. The Mena House Oberoi hotel was nothing short of extraordinary as I stayed right across the road from the Pyramids of Giza, a location that felt like a dream come true.
