This has been very fun to read your entries.
Jessica and I just returned from camping and exploring Tubal Cain mine in the Olympic Mtns. we also checked out a B-17 that crashed in the mountains in Jan,1952. Most of the plane is still up there 5 of the 8 people on board survived the crash. I was wondering if you did any water activities, like snorkeling or what the water temp was down there this time of year? Stay safe.
It's clear you're having a blast Hi Beth and John,
I really appreciated reading your blog about Bulungula Lodge, and while we lived for four years in Liberia, West Africa, I never had the kind of an opportunity that you had there. And Betty never got her face painted like yours!
Thanks, Uncle Rich
Hey Beth and John,
Really enjoying your pictures. Need to take more of Beth. Ofcourse, work blocks this site so most folks are seeing them from home. Looks like you are having great times. Things are looking up for us too. CDD goes to JROC Tuesday. Safe travels!

John and Beth: Thank you so much for including me via computer on your travels. Bob and I have done a lot of traveling so we find this so interesting. I am printing out all the notes as the lady I volunteer with at the hospital has traveled most everywhere in the world so I know she will enjoy the notes and pictures also. Be safe and enjoy yourself. It is so wonderful to travel. We went to Israel
last year for 2 weeks which was wonderful. I put all my pictures on a DVD and add music and explanations. I just finished one on Australia, NZ, Fiji. That was our very favorite trip so far. Loved Australia and the people. Thanks again. Louise
No video Hello you two, Just wanted to let you know that when we tried to watch the video of the penguins it said "video not found or access denied". Just in case you might be able to fix it. Still loving reading about all of your adventures, and missed you tons at our family time in Ocean Shores and the reunion of both sides last Sunday. Stay safe and healthy. Love you Susan
Amazing! What an amazing place you found. It makes me want to go there for one of our breaks from school, though it's probably only slightly closer than if we traveled from Seattle. What a journey you are on! Thanks for taking the time to keep us updated. It was just a month or so ago that we were all in Seattle for your dad's birthday...now look where we all are. Be safe and have more adventures! Happy traveling, Kirk
Hey Beth and John - Great post again. I love how descriptive you are, and the pictures add quite a lot. We just got back from Ocean Shores and you were very missed. We had a good but overcast time. I am so sorry that I missed your call. I didn't even hear the phone ring - as I was having a sleep in on my birthday! :) Love you ton, Susan
Beautiful Beth, thank you so much for chronicling your trip, both in terms of what you're doing and what you're learning about each place. What a rich experience you and John are sharing!
Looks Amazing! Well hello family! Looks like you two are having an amazing time on your adventures. Please be safe and continue to enjoy the eye opening sites that you are seeing everyday. Keep us in tune with new things.
Love,
Mark
WOW!!!! Hi Beth and John,
WOW - so many georgeous pictures!! I really like the blog - like I said I get to live vicariously through your travels. Can't wait to see what comes after Africa!!
BTW, Leigh finished her internship and did GREAT! I think MITRE may hire her on. We are all still engulfed in the swirl that will someday become JMS. ;)
Hope you both are enjoying every second of your journey!! I wish you safe travels and happy trails. And until we meet again, may God hold you in his palm.
Cheers,
Terry

Wonderful! Beth and John, Thank you so much for the wonderful travel log. I can imagine it so well, and am amazed at your adventures. Please be safe and all our Sequim love to you. Susan
I wanted to add a ps to your previous blog. Last year in the spring we took a trip to the four corners and rode the narrow gauge rr from Durango. It was spectacular. going along the river gorge with at times the rails hanging (if felt like) over the side of the cliff. Very dramatic.
Love, Betty
Love your blogs and pics Dear Beth and John,
What a wonderful record you are keeping of your journey. The stories of your SA guide were impressive.
Keep having good adventures.
Love, Betty
