Dunk Island has a holiday resort on it, with loads of activities. We travelled across for a day trip to do some horse riding. Trav had never been on a horse before so was very excited. We were allocated our horses and Kathy was a bit concerned as her horse, Sunny, seemed half the size of everyone else's. It wasn't actually that much smaller, just standing downhill! We mounted up without any problems and set off in single file. The ride was initially on a woodland path, then on the beach (the horses weren't keen on this as there was nothing for them to graze on!) and then finally through a meadow, which the riding instructor called the "Lolly shop" (Australians call sweets lollys).
