Tennis and a gym no problem depending on where you live. let me know when your here we can have a beer or something. The Palm tree hostel is a good palce to start unless you want upscale then iethr a hostel in Poblado or an apartment here or there.

Hi read your coments on line and it sounds like we have similar interests. I am in Columbia for 3 months and plan to spend one of them in Medellin if I can find a good gym and tennis lessons as well as a nice resanably priced apartment. Any assistence would be appreciated

Well, eventually you had to meet someone taller than you! Is there a time difference in Colombia from here? Did I tell you that James was in class last week..his hair has grown back, he has lost lots of weight, his leg brace is gone and he no longer has to take most of his 27 meds. Was very coherent, not rambling on, stayed on topic. Will probably take his aviation licencing tests soon and go back to Arizona where he's been working. Having Brigitte and Lynn for lunch next week, but they aren't in class. It's just Barry, Alan, James and I so far from the old group.

Return Air Best Price
A friend was looking on Spirit and he could not see such good prices to return to the USA. So we punched in a return trip from USA with the same dates for the return portion and the prices changed so that the return portion was half the cost of a one way. Just so you know.

Are you going to go to Bogota to see Aida's mom? We were teasing Aida today that you might get a free bed and meal for being one of her daughter's students! Are you trying to get an apartment or room to get out of staying in hostels? I don't think you are too verbose in your writing as much info is in the little details. Jaime was in class this a.m. and his hair has grown back in all curly. He's in fine shape and will likely be getting his aviation licences back soon. He may only be here for a week or so or could be longer.

Catica It is a confidence booster, when your up about 6 ft high and he says you have to find your way with your feet I am thinking yes, I am going to fall over and kill my self doing this. IThen you do a quick calculation about health insurance and quality of care here in Colombia and then you have to go. And the more you go the easier it gets. I guess it is always fun when you conquer a fear.

Hi William, I hope your enjoying your time down there. I would expect that will help your spanish at least some. One day perhaps I too will explore these old country's of the world but not right now. Today is my Dads birthday and yesterday I bought him a car ( 2003 Toyota echo) I was planning only to put some money toward it but ended up dropping 3500 on it. Sean is in grade 6 and is a good defensive soccer player but is now interested in tennis and we will see were that goes but we may put him in a school next year that allows him to pursue sports.
