Geo: 16.4393, 100.349Checked out hotel and loaded all our stuff into Garys car.Headed off to Phichit, with stop offs at Bang Sai Royal Folk Arts and Crafts Centre, then Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, then tried to find the Ayutthaya floating market.We stopped at the 'Big Bottle' for lunch.Pushed on from there to Phichit, and checked into a very new motel with only Thai information details.Out for a wander thru the royal fish project, the crocodile farm and Bung Si Fai park.Toured around town, then out to the Little Red Car for dinner, followed by a street stall for dessert. Geo: 13.4691, 104.041Caught the plane to Siem Reap after discovering that the roads are crap from Phnom Penh.Arrived in Siem Reap and met our driver at the airport - free transfer to the hotel, somehow 4 people and ALL our luggage was squeezed into a tuktuk!In the pool for the afternoon, then off to the night market in town at dusk.Cambodian BBQ for dinner , fun and yum!Up early next day and off to see ALL the temples possible in one day.It was SO hot !!!Back to the pool to cool down, then relaxing in our room.Out to the night markets and dinner on Pub Street.Quiet day today = wandering the markets, eating, drinking and swimming.Back into town again at dusk for more markets and dinner.... read more

Geo: 20.9063, 107.082Checked out of hotel and bus to Halong wharf.Arrive on Christina cruise boat and have an awesome welcome lunch.Cruise to Halong Bay - a magnificent part of the world.Visit some huge limestone caves.Kayak around some of the islands.Climb to the top of an island, then relax on the beach.Back onto the boat for dinner under the stars.Kate had a rough night, didn't get much sleep.Very basic breakfast, then cruising back to the wharf for lunch.Bus back to Hanoi and out for dinner, again... ... read more
