Just stopped by to say hello Thanks for sharing . It's really interesting. And mostly of the peoples love for favorite food.
My father is Thai and my mom is Vietnamese. so, I'm proud for this site.
Thanks for your sharing,

Coincident! Angkor is my first dream in the world. Though it's not my first oversea trip but it's definitely my first trip alone like yours... Your photos of Angkor are so beautiful... Mine are not like that. Lovely blog!!!
food, glorious food! This post made me very hungry! Thanks for sharing...I have just realised how much food we didn't get to try on our trip to Vietnam. I would have loved to try dishes like Cá lăng and the snail dish... :)
Ethnic food How many colorful foods in Vietnam ! All of them seem hot. I have never been to Vietnam yet, but I think "When in
South Asia, you EAT as the people EAT, then you will not be exhausted that I learned. Thanks for many photos. Kob
great! so glad you did this blog on vietnamese food. just what we all need --- i just hope i get to remember all those names. Thanks for this blogs, hong.
Thanks so much for publishing another wonderful blog about Vietnamese food, the photos and descriptions are wonderful. Publishing the names and details of the restaurants is also a very good idea as information for tourists. Also, the inclusion of the "Vietnamese Food and Drinks" section in your "Vietnam - Guide for trip planners" blog is a great idea. We should try to promote the wonderful food of your country as much as we can because it is so varied and interesting. The differences in cusine from one district to the next is juyst amazing, Lorenza and I could spend our lives exploring the food of your country. Many thanks!
Lorenza & I looked again at this blog. We relived some of our favourite dishes and our mouths were watering! Vietnamese cuisine is so varied and inviting. We are looking forward to returning soon to try more of the dishes we have not yet discovered in person.
Hello again ... we hope you have been well and happy like we have been ... this is a very interesting blog with great photos again. "I sometimes forget what the date is today" - Lorenza and I have the same problem travelling and have to mark our days off a list like you. In Hanoi we both had to visit the International Hospital, which was an experience in itself, it was interesting to see what the medical treatment was like but not so interetsing to be sick while travelling. "I always have a strong belief that there are many good people" - we agree with this statement 100% and seem to always find postive people when we travel which well and truly make up for any negative experiences - we think positiveness attracts postiveness. "I'll fly to Bangladesh in 3 more weeks" - we wish you a wonderful trip and look forward to your blogs. Take care.
Borobudur Regret I had no chance to visit there when I often visited Indonesia on business. I'm sure I may feel being united with cosmo, standing at the top of Borobudur.
Difficulties If I were your father, I have the same feeling. But, now I always feel uneasy about my old mother before a long trip.
I always appreciate stories of your trip, and admire overcome of your troubles to show us photos of hirstrically beautiful scenery with accurate writings.
WoW, Experiencies similar to Me. Dear Hanoi Girl, Your Diary is very interesting, I do understand just how You feel at those lonely and Challenging times.
It is comfort to understand that We are in Gods hands, and He works situations out for Us and provides for Us in amazing ways, and God is never too late. Please keep traveling and writing. Your admiring co traveler, John.
travelling I agree. Travelling is a very interesting combination of passion, time, money, need to learn, making plans and itineraries, dreams... Travelling alone is boring or just the opposite. I have travelled alone and I felt fine although sometimes I needed some help or just company. Each situation needs some kind of balance. There´s never a complete happiness in life...
Wow Wow, this blog is absolutely amazing! It is brilliant that you spent the time to share your experience and knowledge with other people. It is hard to find information all in one place on the internet when you are travelling so I would just like to say thank you as this has helped alot to plan our visit to Vietnam next month!

plums for you Very charming notes and splendid photos, hanoi girl! The part about the lady getting the plums for you'll to eat and refusing money is very touching... I've met with similar situations...Difficult to return such favours, you can just give them your biggest smile!
Oh we forgot to mention - we agree with your comment "In the big cities we have too much food and wasted them. At least they have some things that we don't." It is the same in Australia and people who live the city life forget there is a beautiful and natural world away from the noise and traffic. Your break away from Hanoi must have been wonderful.
blue h´mong It seems there´s an endless variety of minorities. You visited a lovely place and, what I always consider very important, much more important than anything: people!!!! Love, from Argentina.
I am a Hanoi_girl who loves to travel.
