All chores, work, emails etc STOP immediately when I get a notice that a new travel adventure has been posted. The writing and stories are great - the photography is stunning as always. Keep the updates coming - I almost feel like I'll need
to start taking anti-malarial pills soon - pulitzer-prize-worthy is right!

The floating market looks the same as it was in the James Bond movie "The man with the Golden Gun"

Vic & Deb, sounds like you're having fun. Which is making my quotidian reality seem lame-O. The underwater scooters look very cool (James Bond theme song playing in my head as we speak). Ontario retailers are in full holiday mode here a
nd Saturday the X-mas tree is going up in the Weiler household (lest there be a national strike by the kids). As for the blogs, keep 'em coming. Love the pictures -other than the one of the German (I guessing he's German anyway) tourist in his speedo thong. Take care.

Vic, great posting as always. I too thoroughly enjoy San Diego. In 2009, there was an investment conference and one of the dinner's was on the flight deck of the Midway. Unorthodox, but when else would one have that experience. Glad you're
enjoying yourselves and look forward to your next update!
28th November 2011

Vic & Deb, I'm still laughing from the posting. Your description of life aboard a floating Holiday Inn Express confirms my prejudices about big boat cruising. Still, it's all about the people you meet and from the sounds of it, you met
some interesting ones for sure. Look forward to the next posting.

Love that 'muleba'. Could be the new Olympic sport!

Snuba you say. For two individuals who have scuba dived in Antarctica, I can only imagine how basic snuba must have seemed. Kind of like a Formula 1 race car driver riding the bumper cars at the local amusement park. Still, sounds like you
're having fun. All of us at the office are enjoying the postings. Hope to hear from you soon

Hi, guys, Somehow missed this entry earlier. This leg of your journey is something I would enjoy. Local wildlife up close and personal, and volcanoes! Can't wait to see these pics! By the way, did you wash down your "shrimp on the Barbi
e" with a pint of Foster's?
8th September 2011

Hey, Vic, Deb was always good for a laugh when we were kids. I see she hasn't changed! Your description of your travels is quite humorous. What an adventure! Hope the house business goes well. Cheers!
