A ten day trip to the Andaman Islands was a real treat, but our friends had planned a tour that was really off the beaten path. “We have something special planned for your last night here”, they said. We weren’t expecting much, after all, what could beat seeing beautiful coral reefs, the colourful fish, an occasional turtle and sea grass meadows? Then again, one night, marooned amidst the sea, cutoff from electricity and the familiar notion of next-door neighbours was possibly the best way to round off our exciting trip.
