New BBC prog Dresses? Houses? How about Susie creates new BBC1 history doc: 'Curtains as fabric - 1980-1981'? (I know there's a programme in this, because my mum made me a pair of highly fashionable knickerbockers from some old purple velvet curtains in the heady summer of 1980.)

All mothers are the same So Grandma insists on feeding everyone - what a strange concept! Good to know that we are all basically the same. Sounds to me that every night is a Friday night. Wish I could have heard your description of school - which one? Anyone ask about your scar??? Had not realised that this was another link in the Goldring/Clements chain! Miss you very much but really hope that you are enjoying life. Hugs and kisses from everyone.xxxxxxxx
wow well, what nice tea breaks I will have reading your blog. So refreshing to hear there is life beyond white city. Glad you made it... just got back from a few days in mallorca which was beautiful and relaxing, but not enough!! Now trying to untie the knots in my stomach as I deal with a million emails, house selling/buying and work... I know where I'd rather be... lots of love and hugs. Take care. Cxxx

All that on day one It's Sunday afternoon, and having battled with the housework for the past hour or so, it was a great diversion reading your travel blog. Wow! Roaches! Hope you enjoy the book, I had hoped it wouldn't become relevant too soon... Enjoy it htough, other than the roaches it's full of sex, death, sewage and gluttony, those insects live one hell of a life.
Great blog Susie - keep it up, I look forward to the novelisation and inevitable film adaptation. You're making it sound too redolent and enticing, we're all really fed up over here and more than willing to disconnect the P drive and head off Eastwards with our Phillips screwdrivers and our torches. Soon Pondicherry will be the next Provence and farmhouses all over India will be converted into middle class guest houses.
missing you already Hi Susie, well its very kind of you to let our lovely son Noah dominate the pictures on your blog... we hope you are enjoying the wonders that India has to offer so far. Just remember: don't drink the water or eat the nuts, and you won't go far wrong. keep in touch. A, S and n.
First comment! Got in before anyone else! Actually, that makes me pretty sad, doesn't it. Does everyone get to read these? Hello? Sorry it's late. For me, anyway... Hope the flight was okay. Talk soon?
