.....and here was I looking forward to a week in Burnham on Sea! Wow Susie.........love the photos and the thought of a round bed with shutters above. I want your holidays.......can swap a week in a caravan in Burnham on Sea (26th July) or a week in a caravan (12ft prestige!!!) in Weymouth (16th August). Deal or no deal?
Long time no see Wow, it's been a while since I was here. My computer crashed - again, you know the drill - plus internet troubles. I've also lost your email address, by the way, so may I have it again, please?
Actually, the Tsavo lions killed nearly 100 people, not all railway workers though. Er. I liked this entry a lot. And 'misty acacia' looks wonderful. I so, so need to see Africa now.....although I will take your advice about the camping!
More later, I still have a lot of entries to see.

Agreed Amazing photographs. Looking fwd to seeing them in print. Maybe you could do a 70s-style evening with a slide show, fondue and warm Liebfraumilch. On second thoughts, maybe not...
Brilliant Hi Suzie so pleased I joined your blog. This was very touching and funny at the same time I love your sense of humour.
Take Care
Lots of Love and xxxxx

Elsie, is that for real or just a shot. I have over and over again bargained whether I should take the trip but I remember falling sick up Mt. Kenya and it scares me ending up like what am seeing. I don't do too good in cold climates. I pity the potters too dragging you down that mountain. Sorry girl, go down to dar, it must be much warmer, hope you feel better!
Awesome How fabulous to climb that high and live to tell about it. Wonderfully recounted I felt as if I were there gasping for breath. Hope Elsie has recovered. dt
what a story...! wow, was i really part of that story?! its brilliant and made me laugh out loud more than once! you paint a very good picture and have done our adventure true justice, asante!
I think I've seen the film... Hey Susie!
Rain just forwarded me your blog url for the first time so I've got a lot of catching up to do. It looks and sounds like you're having some great adventures. Well... things are just as adventurous here in White City, why last week, I dared to try the pasta instead of my usual pizza order in the canteen and I have to say, it turned out 'OK'. :-)
I think I saw the film you're referring to here on BBC Four - I have to say, though it sounds like he used some dubious methods for entry, it's difficult to see this film and not think that something has gone wrong somewhere along the way. If even some of the picture he's captured of the situation is even remotely right, it's quite sad. Definitely interesting viewing though.
I'll look through your other entries - saw the pics in your bikini and you look fabulous!!! (nice tea cup too :-)
Take care and travel safe,
Nicole xx
travels I follow all your travels, very impressed by adventures and events that are happening. So happy for you to have this great opportunity to see the world from different angle. I heard that you planning clime to Kili! Have fun and Happy Birthday on one of the tops of the world. I am off to another top next week, himalayas form other side. Going to Bhutan via Kathmandu (been there some parts...but the rest of the trip is new). Love from branka
