Hello Hey Suse
Finally got round to adding a comment! You wouldn't be you if you did things the easy way, had good luck and generally sailed through life! Keep up excellent blog and pretty pictures. More of buxom ladies too...

Hi Susie... good read this week - most amusing. Woman dies in mis-hap. What!!! Poor lass.
Anyways, looking forward to finding out about Mysore, old tiger tipu sultan and all that. Bring it on :-)
Hi Susie, posting a comment so that you won't call me a lurker again.......nice entry, I liked it and agree completely about the birds. Did you know that if a lizard calls after you say something it will come true? Superstition, but I still wonder...........
flash back! Hi there!
You are in my land now. You are very good with your explanations.
And yeah! the tropical fruit you are referring to, is called "jackfruit".
Every place has something beautiful to offer. Have fun!
Jealous Hi Susie, hope you don't mind Debbie seeing your blog we are reading it in between auditions. It's a sunny day but we are trapped in a room with lights that don't work properly listening to some brilliant people but some very scary people too! VVVVVVVV jealous. Amanda says Hi too
Thiruvarur Hi,
I came across your travelogue when i was searching information about my hometown, Thiruvarur. You have a nice blog and hope you are enjoying your time there in Thanjavur district.
To beat the heat, try "nungu" or a type of fleshy fruit from palm trees. They are available in abundance in Tamilnadu during summer time.
Have a nice time.

Hi Susie
Back from Malaysia and all settled into KS3 (although KS1 is ongoing). So trying to catch up on your blogs. Sounds like you're having a whale of a time, you must be excited about school beginning.
Malaysia was very cool, completely relaxing and stunning beaches. Had nothing to do but laze on the beach and snorkel with turtles. It can be a hard knock life at times... x

Amazing stories You have a gift for bringing a journey alive, giving it all the sights, sounds, smells....I'm hooked. I've been reading your blog aloud at bedtime, and it's like a funny, fascinating conversation with my husband, with your voice as a cheerful third. Thanks for writing, and writing so well.
Wow! Hi Susie. Thanks for the link to your blog.......just what I needed on a wet, cold, miserable day in May. Right now my life seems very small! Keep up the commentary, it's fascinating. All the Lords send their love! XX
Enna kelvigal irunthithu? Brett/Mark/lila - imagine how knackered we were after each visit to a school. Now imagine doing that in 38 degree heat and with them all jabbering away in Tamil.
Like when I went to Ealing with Rob in the middle of last summer when the school had us in a tiny upstairs room with all the huge iron radiators turned up to 11 probably. Although I don't think they spoke Tamil, in fact if I remember correctly, the blackboard had evidence of a previous lesson teaching the five year olds how to write complaining letters to the Daily Mail about shoddy service and the declining moral standards of the BBC. I copied the notes down needless to say... Glad you are enjoying the Tamil school experience, the kids may get their chance when all our jobs are outsourced to Calcutta.
Brett/Mark/Sam - has history 2 taken off yet?
That particular porker has still to be fitted with wings let alone find its way to a runway!

So show us the new look. Plus I think you are being somewhat camera-shy in all these reports. mx
