fox Loved the fox story. We have a local one that strolls up and down the road barking at dusk. You'll find him peering into the house thru the storm door. Don't know if he's nosy or lonesome. Love your stories Jack and descriptions. I'm taking you to the beach with me!! Love Carole
Too bad the Inland Passage cities (towns) were at midnight. They are all quite intetesting particularly if you take a side trip. No matter what you see, it's an adventure and well worth the trip. Your pictures and narrative are perfect. I look for it each morning. Carole
I Dare Ya! Okay, we've had pics of you in the lovely scenery... taken with your left hand. Now give us pics from left AND right hand to prove you're ambipixelated! *grin*

AWESOME! Jack, what an awesome adventure!! I love this sort of thing...getting out on the road and staying off the "main" highways. I love that picture of the Miata all packed up and ready to roll....it looks like you took the passenger seat out to put in a spare tire?? Nice!!
Be safe!!
Enjoying your trip! Jack -- I'm thoroughly enjoying your travel blog and those fantastic photos! Wow! Breathtaking views! And I'll bet you're appreciating traveling ALONE - no conversation (except for "talking" on your blog) -- and drinking in those beautiful views.
Keep 'em coming!
Loving you,
Mom
Mt St Helens Hi Jack
We were on the road to Texas so did not get to check your blog until now. Do you recall we had 1 acre of land in Gifford Pinchot National Forest. We used to camp there - I think in the area of your travel. Have a wonderful trip. Love, Sis
