love the photos really great to see some photos-it looks amazing. Accommodation not too bad. classic monkey, love the tea photo of you and the lassi. Is Libby with you??
In awe wow Soph it all sounds so exciting!!!! Almost 2 weeks in to your amazing journey.....I love reading your story and hearing all about how you are getting on, proud of you.
Looking forward to the next installment from Thailand.
no snakes then... great that you have been able to chill out a little after those classic cities of the North! Beach resort (??) looks bear authentic-hope our Kerala experience throws ina few more comforts. Pleased the conditioner is lifting the spirits. Can't believe it's only 2 weeks-you seem to have been away for ages and we miss you loads. love you mum xxx
so fast...so slow Well I cannot believe you’re moving countries so soon! To the hills then Bangkok could be a book title!
It feels like you’ve just arrived in India. Yet you’ve obviously filled yourselves with experiences so move on. I gather from Maudie that Bangkok airport has a Boots if you need any medicines for tummies or over tanned skins, or bites.
Your image of clean clothes will of course play brilliantly to any mothers reading your blog fre-breeze ( or something like it) is surely the smell solution to dirty clothes? It reminds me of my grandmother who used to use dry shampoo I was convinced it did no good, but it smelled ok.
Keep enjoying and writing.
Love

i was so shocked and worried for u when i saw the title of this entry but thank god you have thus far escaped the snakes! glad you're in the sun with nice food, sounds like things are looking up! hope u have a great week - dont burn!!!! xxxx
Hot and cold... Well it sounds as if you are experiencing the extremes hot /cold, life and dying on the streets, good chicken/ bad chicken, cheap rooms/expensive rooms! Trust me that is not expensive by the parental standards! And what a great description of sitting on the beech; much like a joint family holiday in my mind.
Maudie has set off to Cambodia and I expect she’ll sort out internet access on Tuesday. Nearer your time zone than ours. We know she’s arrived but nothing else.
Keep enjoying. Love Jeremy et al
Animals Great to see that you're at home with animals - it will help with your return to the UK. Goa sounds good even if you are sharing with the cobras and the rabid dogs. Watch out that Bob and Fred don't make new friends with the snakes overnight(which one is which?). Bet you wish you'd spent the money on the rabies jabs, not least because it seems to take 24 hours even to get down the road. Love from all in France
hello! haha yeh i remember all the animals! lol i love these little blogs, make me really feel like im there! and little bits of it remind me of interrail tho urs is on a bigger scale! love you and miss you both! take care xxx
Wow soph ur descriptions of all the animals on the roads and the food and stuff are hilarious! so you! :) Hopefully ur still having an amazing time and the beach is fun. my cousins left england for 2 weeks in Goa yesterday so if you hear any loud greeks you'll know who they are haha! also stop spending money like water woman!
xxx
so classic that the first travelling buddies you meet are racists and hippies - what more could you want?! sounds like you've already managed to pack a lot into the first week, you make me so jealous considering i've barely moved from these four walls...hope you have a great time in goa, i think it was a wise change of plan, you girls deserve some luxury! lots of love xxxx
IST Ah Soph, you do make me laugh.. Oh and I have to introduce to you three little letters IST.. No not a disese you would rather not have, but instead Indian Stretchy Time.. 5 minutes =4 hours and and hour = 10 minutes.. oh those blissfull 2 hour bus rides when you would arrive in your destination 8 hours later etc! hope the sun warms you up!X
did they like the photo? Teeni's place sounds fab. Great to have bit of luxury after the poo onthe train station, man. Interesting people....entertainment guaranteed. \really gret to see the photos-you really are there!!

Sounds like fun Well how lovely to hear of your arrival and first experiences! It will all seem so much more ordinary after a few days. I can hear Norman saying “I told you it was going to be cold!” and indeed she said the very same on the ‘phone this evening. Actually it’s cold in London too but it’s hardly home from home eh?
Keep writing great descriptions
Love from us all.
told you so! that Delhi would be cold (such a mum thing!)Brilliant start-you are doing so well-can't believe how brave you are; must be the Kent gene pool. I would be holed up a room awaiting pizza delivery man. My futue comments will be private but thought i would include one for the group! That rough guide was well worth it-shame about the fleece .
Love you lots and miss you here. Will have a group call from Liz and Bobs. Keep safe xxx
Stress! Hey soph, already replied on facebook but after reading this it sounds like ur having an interesting time to say the least. haha its so you to be freaked out by all the poverty and stuff - is it really that bad? also get used to being harassed by people as in kavos the club reps literally never leave u alone, nor do the gypsies selling matches and tissues lol! anyway i think ull appreciate the levels of development in greece a lot more after ur gap year journies!!
much love sofpo xxxxxx
WOW! Gosh soph its only day 3!! What a start ay! It sounds a mixture of scary stuff, shock, eye-openers, fun, memories....AMAZING really! I can't explain how depressing it is to read that whilst sat at my desk when usually i have you moaning with me about work!!
When its hard just think you're prob gtting the most 'difficult' place out of the way first! there is fun, drinking, people etc all to come!
Take care, big kiss and enjoy...speak soon!! x x
