God Sophie that dorm life looks hard do you always have the top bunk.
Snow in OSmind you spect they are just going into their winter. How much longer are you away for.?
Love your last chapter keep them coming Liz Rob France xxxx
classic you go all that way and then compare it to blackpool! glad you're getting meat and real meals, although what is this running you speak of? sick! so so so jealous of the upcoming neighbours trip, take a million photos!! xxxxx
karaoke in the genes great to see karaoke lives on in the kent genes-too many evenings listening to us and the culletons I suspect-still we have set the standard. Of all the crimes to be committed, a crime against food is the worst of all!! Sounds like you recovered well. Great photos and we have your discs now too. Much love and miss you. xxxx
The Biggest Sin of all Is stealing your food. Money, phone, you can bear their loss. But food! Lass those aussies have hit you where it hurts. Death to the food thief!
A life down under now! Hi Soph, another excellent chapter, thanks, look forward to reading the book, expect your Dad is envious of the Po Bho's.
Saw your Ma and Pa yesterday, had a great evening and caught up on all your gos.
Must teach you how to catch an egg sometime.
Enjoy Oz
Steak City All I can ask is - do those steaks know what is going to happen to them over the next four weeks? Pretty soon they'll think the sausages are getting it easy.
Well done on completing SE Asia.
red meat at last! I think you were ready to leave SE Asia behind after so long and the big cities of KL and Singapore were a useful transition back into western ways.
You've got some big journeys ahead in Oz-hope you get chance to chill. can't wait to get your parcel and photos from Anne this weekend and look forward to getting photos of Jacko in Sydney!
Dont know where to start soph after this blog as so much seemed to happen to u! I'll just say that im jealous of ur tea plantation experience, im sure that was a big deal for u and i hope u save some of this amazing tea for when your back to make us after a drunken evening. much love xxx
So sorry you had such a nasty experience but at least it was non-violent crime!
What I don't understand is why on the discovery that the only available films were french you decided to head beack to bed??? surely a linguistic genius such as yourself was longing for a cultural, foreign language film?!
Much love, as always! xxxxxxxxx
What an account! Gosh So... what an ordeal on this week's blog! It already seems that travelling is going to be such a good experience and toughen you up for sure! Uni will seem a breeze! Can't wait for Oz tails....
Missing you lots! Jut been checking out 'infinity' holiday and looks like we're going to have a fab week...
love you x
starbucks crime scene sounds to me as though you dealt with it all brilliantly but what a trauma and hope you are both ok now. A painful reminder that you are still rich pickings in some of thes places. Personally, I never liked KL and now I definitely don't! SE Asia draws to a close, what an amazing experience. Look forward to your culleton style journal and reflections on your return. Melacca sounded fun. Bet you are both looking forward to a bit of luxury with Ann in Singapore . We are now back from Kerala and Kitty back tomorrow (also my missing suitcase hopefully!) love and miss you mamak xxx
Hi So-ph Back from Mallorca to 2 blogs from you, sounds great and from photos we can see how much fun your having, though it sounds like you should have borrowed your Ma's life jacket.
Lucy and Paulxxxxxx
I hope Jenny 'The Geek' doesnt have a link to this blog!!
great photos, beaches look amazing - and so do u!! lovely dresses and you're looking skinny! xxx
WOW! As always Soph a food-fuelled account of your fab trip! rich and i are sat here in our little flat laughing at the food references! You're looking great though...love that pic of you with paint on at Full Moon. It really does sound awesome and makes me very jealous. Enjoy your last few weeks in SEA and bring on OZ! Love you lots and be safe, Jess and Rich x x x x
Kent family around the world! Great photos, love that tan and I would have spotted kelly anywhere-so classic essex! Looks amzing all that blue an dislands. Relief the tsunami was unfounded but wave on bot would have had me finished.
Here in Kerala avoiding wildlife as much as I can-although monkeys and guineafowl surround us. Weird to think of us all so far flung. Kitty just won match in South African township. love mum xxx
Great times Phi Phi looks really good - glad you got to chill, even tho the dorm party looked like one not to wake up from. Good also to see the famous buckets and that mad Kelly pre rather than post the buckets. Great that you're having a chilled time. I'd enjoy the beaches rather than the cold highlands - spoken from the cold highlands of Kerala. lv dadx
at risk of sounding bitchy...that kelly sounds like a bit of a liability! glad you survived your vodka bucket, you've made me proud. keep having fun xxxx
survivor of the full moon party! well done for surviving-sounds weird and quite pilgrim -like as you said-all wandering around with your buckets of alcohol. Poor old kelly!!Great to have done it.
Now only "The Beach" to survive. Look out for Leonardo's hangouts. Much love mum xxx
luxury glad to hear uve finally had a bit of luxury soph but im proud that ur coping so well with everything else! there is hope for sydenhams eh! xxx
p.s. the photo of little u in that massive bed actulli made me laugh out loud lol ;)

Big Tree!!! dont think that big tree photo escaped me miss kent....im excessivley jealous that u saw your biggest tree ever at a time when i wasnt with you!
all photos are amazing, i love your birthday dress, you look so pretty in pink! fear the skulls would have set my weak tear ducts a-flowin' tho...
full moon party should be amazing, cant wait to hear all about it.
lots of love xxxx
Yet more fun Yet another great set of descriptions and of such a diverse range of experiences. It was lovely to see photos of you all and I am so glad you met up with Maudie. Nice to see photos of her with you. I am still chucking at the going down the steps from the cloudy temple sunset on your bum. I would have done the same but of course your Dad like the goat herder ancestry he surely must have would have bounded down two at a time. Such a relief to read of another mere mortal!
The graves sound moving and no wonder you were hot and sweaty eh? Frightening to be able to touch them
Can’t wait to hear of the full moon party .
Love J.
great photos!! Lovely to see you with Maud and Lot and Mol. What fab memories you will have of this time. Still laughing at the thought of the face slapping at the blind massage and now I can visualise you in your white, flattering T shirts. Angkor wat sounds incredible and the heat reminds me so much of My Som in Vietnam last summer-seems along time ago but I remember how sweaty we all were. Glad you made the absolute most of the luxury-hope it doesn't spoil you for the next phase....Much love mamak
Happy Birthday Hi Soph, glad you enjoyed your birthday, sounds cool. I like the mention of your bike ride, especially as your Mum and I are doing the tour de France this year, you must pass on any tips.
Take care xxxxxxxx
