Great update Hello Dan and Lizzie
This is a good catch up on your tour. Pics are excellent. Lizzie- it sounds as if you are out-peforming your greatest expectations on the treks. Well done!
Looking forward to the next episode.
See you both in exactly two weeks - plus Soph and George
Love Dad (dy-pooz)
Happy Birthday Happy Birthday!! SOunds like it was an interesting one. It looks amazing you lucky things! Are you still in La Paz...because I have a very good friend who lives there who would surely hook you up...you would get on well....let me know asap!! I want to know more about dune riding...looks sick! Love to Lizzie and speak soon. H
your barred Hello! 2 hours for toots is well worth it!! they are amazing. glad you guys are having fun...I had a chat with Mikey mike the other day as I thought, stupidly, that you may be back!! You are very lucky people...I just finished my diss...but still have 3 essays and an exam. I also got on to the masters course in Utrecht...yey...so you must come visit! Have a superwonderful time and keep me posted.
News summary: Scotland voted the Nationalists in. A reporter got harrassed for investigating the church of scientology. Jesus is back...and he's only got one arm. Honey bees are dying because of mobile phones and a church group said it was the coming of the apocalypse (if bees are wiped out plants can't pollenate..except olives and grapes that are self polenating) they turn it into an apocolypse story citing revelations!! Victoria and Henry 3rd anniversary and Angus has a wart on his left foot.
Love to you both Henryx
Darjeeling Stayed at the Windermere? seems expensive. Though great view on the second floor of the open air lounge. And the everest? Boy, were you lucky! My Tiger Hill at 5am was overcasted. Too much fog, not even the peak of the 3rd highest mountain thingie. Good photos!
Cochin Tea Great poem Jane!
I think that the tea-beer is one of the more amusing Ft. Cochin treats. Did you experience it anywhere else? Maybe it is the real expalnation why the doormouse at the Mad Hatters do was asleep and the hatter was apparently 'mad'- it was nothing to do with mercury!

Mumbai sounds better that I thought You make Mumbai sound positively pleasant. I was put off spending a day of tourism there by a colleague of mine who is a regular. That is why I shot through the airport in transit on the last trip.
Looking forward to seeing you both next week. It's been an amazing adventure and I expect you are sad that it is coming to an end.

It was great to see you What about the two Tandoori chicken meals plus Coke that settled my very slightly grumbly stomach after ten hours in the metaphoric hands of Thai Airlines from Tokyo! The curry for breakfast was porbabaly a step too far inot the unknown. TandChick is now a recognised Bangalore cure for Papa-tum (even worse pun there Dan!! )sorry
Dad/Mike
...bit late! I only JUST realised i can reply to you via this blog..only taken ohh 87 days! Anyhow, just wanted to let you know how jealous I am!! Plus my flatmate last year comes from Bangalore, she complains that its so hot and humid there and much prefers our English climate! Plus my cousins live somewhere around there too...if only I knew then you could pop in for tea!! (thought it sounds as thought you've already had you fair share of tea) Lots of love to you both xxxx oh PS: becca is off on her season today!!
I'm sooooooo jealous So, I'm sitting here at work in a nice modern building in America, on my nice comfy chair surrounded by phones and flat screens. I got here in my nice modern car, having slept in a my nice warm house after eating a nice evening meal and watching the results of the US elections (unlucky George!). It all sounds OK...even "nice". And yet I'd MUCH rather be where you two are.....even with the dodgy food and simple accomodation. The things you're doing sound fantastic, and I am deeply jealous. I'll just have to keep reading your blog and look forward to early retirement!
Keep the notes coming and take care. Nick.
missed you! sorry i missed you on line - but thanks for your birthday message to mim. been great keeping up with your news and travels - sounds awesome and i'm quite jealous. can't wait to see you both to hear more! you sound like you have had a very cleansing time both physically and spiritually! lots of love and a big kiss xxxxx
WOW Guys - just amazing experiences! Glad that you've also mastered a camera - brilliant to be able to share some of your sights and without having to smell them too! Genius. Finding your whole trip fascinating, an Irish Bar in Fuertaventura is as high-brow and cultured as my travelling has been to date - I think I peaked!
I also knew Daniel Craig was the wrong Bond choice. The name's Dan, Dan Summers and this is my PA (read secret ninja psycho), Sophie Golightly. Now where is Mr Broccoli's number.....?
Love from all of us to both of you xxx
