AMAZING
Barbara - I am so in awe of all the traveling you do by yourself! I say good for you. Sounds like a wonderful trip - one I've never taken and now won't at my age. Trudy and I still take a major trip every year and we will take 2 next year - back to Costa Rica in April 2016 and another cruise out of Barcelona but this time to Athens next Oct. 2016. Keep going gal and stay well and safe. Bev.

your blog about Holland
Dear Barbara, I have read your travelblog about your visit to Holland and it was very interesting! I am Dutch myself and for my Geography Masterthesis I am doing research among tourist bloggers from abroad. Your blog caught my eye because you visited some less famous places in Holland, like Venlo. It is so interesting to find out why a part of the tourists in Holland visit those less famous places next to the highlights like Amsterdam and its surroundings. That's why I am wondering if I could ask you some questions about your visit, to complement the info in your blog. It won't be a long survey, but more of a short interview-type conversation about your experience and opinion. You would help me a lot and I am also very curious to know about what you think about Holland and the reasons why you choose to visit it. I really hope to hear from you. The interview will be used in a completely anonymous and confidential way. Kind regards, Theo van Veenendaal tvanveenendaal1986@gmail.com

Visit to Helsinki
As I was born in Finland and went back for a visit in 1975, it was wonderful to read about your trip to Helsinki and how you enjoyed it. If I win the next lottery, I'm booking my flight! BTW, I see that both you and I are on Ravelry and we both live in Sudbury!

Tango
Hey, last year I went to Argentina and took some Tango classes. I found an apartment rental buenos aires that was great. I was near the downtown so I spent all days watching tango shows, it is a fantastic dance. I would like to keep practising it. Tiffany

HI BARBARA
I love your blog and Trudy and I saw most of the same things while in Oslo (Viking Ship Museum, Kon-Tiki Museum, Nobel Peace Prize Center, wharf, etc.) and enjoy them all too. I will be looking forward to many more updates of your wonderful adventure and I admire you very much for doing that by yourself. I've been all through Europe but never by myself!!!! Be safe and have a wonderful time - and keep writing either in your blog or by e-mail!!!! Bev. Brown from the Nordkapp

Mai-Tais
Am enjoying your travelogue. I have had the Mai-Tais at the Royal Hawaiian on Waikiki beach and they are the best in the world. I figure you can scatter my ashes at the bar while looking at Diamond Head in the distance.

In rainy Mexico
Thanks for reminding me why I am living in the smog, traffic and chaos of Mexico City! Don't think I would last a single winter in your neck of the woods. Thanks for the vicarious experience! P.S. My oldest son lives in Edmonton ... not sure if his snow levels compete with yours, but the temperatures sure do! Big hug, L

fun to read you,
hope the van goes... you look a bit like your mother, i met you with short hair, i am still in sta monica, doing my clothes, feeling certainly more isolated ( meeting a friend during the week is a feast.. )than you in the wilderness... what brought you to live in the woods??? How was your last trip?? Do you work or "independantly wealthy"???? Good to find your blog again... All my very best Dominique.

The city of the flower and the bird, a paradise like destination; is located in Cuzcatlan, south east of San Salvador. Suchitoto is one of the most enchanting places in Central America. The weather is pleasant all year around, the views of the man made lake Suchitlan are awesome, breathtaking. The people are hospitable and always make the turist feel welcome. Suchitoto is settle on rocky soil, and has been able to stand many earthquakes. The Old Spanish architecture with tile red rooves, and open corridor gives the town the magic of traveling back in time just by enjoying a stroll thru such charming city. Suchitoto is a place to visit, a place to meet! Una hija agradecida de el calor de la gente de tan linda ciudad.
