Xitang guest house Hello - sorry this might be a little late. As luck would have it I've got a photo of the front door which sported a sign showing the name of the guesthouse - Pingshui Hotel - and the phone number: 0573-4560649.
Name of the Xitang guest house Hello,
Thanks for your lovely travel blog. Would you be able to tell me the name of the guesthouse which you stayed @ Xitang?
xitang guest house Hello,
i'm planning a night over in Xitang next weekend and i find your guest house is very charming, would you have the contact or telephone of the place?
Thanks
Solveig
the Taj Mahal Amy and Simon,
Robert and I have been totally enjoying your writing and photos. Thank you so much. The fact that we are also in the urban planning world makes your observations especially interesting to us.
Yes, the Taj is amazing and difficult to describe. I had been wondering recently if it really is as wonderful as I remember, so it's good to get your confirmation. I went on an especially hot day, before bottled water, so I was buzzed on about 12 bottles of Coke when I saw it. Bonnie
Yay Decidedthat the washing could wait - was anticipating this treat overnight. Just as well you did the trip this way round - travel fatigue getting from nepal to india may not have been as fun! Love the camel photos.
Indeed... ....no sex on the beach in Goa then?... The drink I mean... Hehe...
Can't believe you chose fosters, possibly the worst beer of all time, but I guess if it's cheap, what else is there to do! Heh!
YUM!! man those curries look good. I might have to make a trip to planet spice, or spice planet, I can never remember which one it is. friday night takeaway heaven.
Sam likes curries Don't worry Simon, I'm still impressed that you went to school with Ross Taylor!
Do let me know if Indian Mc'Ds isn't as spicy as NZ, and if they really do have lamb big macs, or big maaas, or whatever....
Glad you guys are having a great time, Goa looks amazing! And I'm glad to hear the curries aren't too hot! A tropical beach and a not so spicy curry would go down quite well right now ... it's snowing on the Rimutaka hill today!
Looking forward to the next blog!
WOW! What a super travelogue of your adventures. Both of you will have the best travel memories forever. Always look forward to the next installment. Perhaps India will be my next "diet!" Continue your fun. Janet
I must be first... Just opened my email and this appeared - I think those boulders must actually be elephants and hippos hiding in the water. I am so pleased to see the photos of hampi and will share the colours for painting with my tourism class - we have been looking at festivals and this was part of it. Now I have a data projector in class there are no limits!
looks sweet. looks like heaps of fun! you technique there looks horrid Simon, get forward!!! probably cant call you titan anymore ether cause your so skinny
Inspirational Adventurers! Simon and Amy - thank you for sharing your adventures with us. It sure brightens our days to read what you have been up to, and the way you tell the story - you really are true wordsmiths! You should do something in a book with this stuff - it really is "gold" for potential travellers! May the fun and aventures continue!
Goodness goodness Simon, we are going to have to start calling to Jared - the Subway guy. actually I might just call you subway guy, as Amy doesnt have fond memories of the name Jared.
fatguts hehehe simon you are so skinny. india has that effect on you aye?. i recal dropping 1 kg per week. that can only go on for so long... fortunately for amy, women dont seem to loose weight, but instead put it on! aah the inequality of the third world. nice blog. great photos
