Wow!!! We love the photo's of you and the fireworks! We stayed up for New Year's eve and watched the fireworks out of our window and on the television of London, they were good! You look like you are having an amazing time, mummy and daddy are very envious!
Enjoy the rest of your travels, can't wait for BIG cuddles!

Hi Abi and Simon,
HAPPY NEW YEAR
Hope that you had a great Christmas - must have felt strange in the heat - we were all shivering and surrounded by snow. It's all gone now and really rather dull - but you never know, more snow might be on the way.
Love the blogs - great pics - not so sure about the canoeing and sleeping a with snakes and lizards and all things creepy!!!
Have a great time,
Paul and Liz

Hi lovelies,
Is photo 8 a form of whale please? Whatever it is I need to know because it looks scary and exciting!
You look so tanned (EVEN SIMON!). I am soo jealous of your travels. England is so cold, I have constant goose pimples and they hurt me. Shaun's house is so cold that we had to have 3 heaters in one room t'other day!
Your birthday sounds lovely Abi.
Thanks for the blog.
lots of love xxxxxxxxxxxx
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Just a note to wish you a very happy birthday and the weather here is exactly the opposite to what you are enjoying, no snow now but heavy frost with fog frozen on all of the hedges and trees making the scenery very christmas card like,I don't think your Dad is into viewing your blog yet because he phoned earlier this morning to say, don't forget to wish you a happy birthday,Adam will be home soon and I will try to get him to set up your blog on Dad's laptop, anyway have a happy birthday, lots of love to you and Simon from Gran,Grandad and all of us back here in the very cold but picturesque weather XXXX
appreciation Hi Simon and Abi,
Just a message to say that I loved the blog again! I am super keen and read your blogs as soon as I receive them!!
It's flipping cold in UK- don't be sad that you're missing out on the snow - it's all melted now!
Keep the blogs coming.
lots of love Emily xxxxxxxxxxx
Weather Hi Abi and Simon - sounds as if you are having an amazing time! Pleased to hear that the weather is as unpredictable there as it is hear - one minute glorious sunshine, then freezing cold, followed by snow, and today the snow has been washed away by rain.
Terry (as in Terry and Christine) wrote his car off going down the hil towards the Fox, Liz spun her car round 180* and had to abandon it overnight on Hackney Hill - fortunately a policeman closed the road both ends! All exciting stuff. Look after yourselves.
Love P & L
MISS YOU ! Lovely to see you both.. glad it is all going well....we are back in London now... as you know lots of snow here.. still not as much as in Chicago !
Hope it all continues well and you do not find the sun and Christmas too weird, I am sure you will get over it !
Thinking of you both big hugs J xxx
Your photos are amazing guys! They a soo nice to see! Keep them coming!
I am sitting at work in my fleece, body warmer, massive coat, leg warmers, finger less gloves and I AM STILL COLD! i am sooo jealous of the weather with you! Missing you lots! Nearly your birthday Abi - what are you going to do for it? xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Thanks for the postcard. You look like you are having amazing fun!!! We are looking forward to seeing Father Christmas on Friday night (3rd Dec). It's been snowing a little bit and we got very excited! Love you both lots and lots. xxxx
Hey you two its been lovely to read about all your adventures and see the photos, i'm very jealous it makes me want to book tickets asap. Sorry i haven't written sooner just thought you wouldn't be interested in boring old dorset. And thanks for the postcards the rafting one made us all laugh - looks like everyone's got their eyes shut. It seems like your trip is going really fast hope its slower from your end, we're just caught up in school/work routines and time seems to be flying by. Also been trying to find somewhere to live which is quite exciting, have put flat up for sale, but haven't found our idyllic farmstead yet so will keep searching. Take care and safe travels... love you both long time, from a long way off x x x
After 3 years of hard studying at university, Simon doing industrial design and Abi doing her nurse training. We decided it was time for a break! We have both always talked about travelling the world and now we are making it a reality, at a perfect time in our lives before we have to settle down and join the real world!
Our trip starts in Las Vegas!!!!!! (where hopefully we will win millions to fund the rest of our trip!!) We will then be hiring a car to travel through Death Valley and Yosemite National Park arriving in San Francisco before heading down the Californian coast to Los Angeles! ... full info
