Hello again and welcome to the latest in our tales of Asia. A little late but worth the wait if you ask us, and trust us we'd tell you. Day 3 in our journey, and today we went to visit the famed Buddhist site Perfume Pagoda, which lies amongst karst mountains about two hours from Hanoi. (For those unaware or otherwise failing to give a shit, karst mountains are limestone mountains which, over years of rain, wind and other eroding substances become quite jagged and spectacular looking.) We were picked up from The Ritz by our personal guide Phong at about 8am and, having forked out for the swish deal, transported by private car to the perfume pagoda area.
