I was laughing out loud at the situation with the Icelandic chick and the booze. I mean really? Come on...she was looking for booze. Guys do the SAME thing but always looking for sex...I guess that would be the drastic difference and what really counted. :-) Guys getting touchy feely at the bar looking for sex....ya I'm not bitter either. ;)
That is pretty good for drunk blogging. I think everyone drunk texts....good or bad, we just should not turn on our phones when we are a bit intoxicated. :-)
Good Luck on your journey I am much like you, have not traveled overseas and only traveled to a few states. Now that I am a Nurse, I can work a lot and play a lot. My job will now allow me to see the US but the extra cash flow will allow me to see the world outside of the US. Good luck on your journey!
It is important to remember what you have left behind We did as we were told and became successful but after all those years of working we took off to travel. We are excited for what will be coming your way.
Congratulations on taking that first travel step! You will not regret your journey. We did the same thing in 2007 and it has enhanced our lives by leaps and bounds. We traveled for 10 months, came back and worked a few years and have just returned from a 6 month trip. We were in Iceland in July....and it is AMAZING. Feel free to check out our blogs. I have never traveled outside of North America and have only been to a handful of states. I spent my schooling years doing exactly what people are expected to do, completing college and moving into a career per the "respectable adult" timetable. Now I find myself with a little time on my hands and no tethers... time for an adventure before I do something silly and get tied down until who-knows-when.... full info
