wow, imagine my suprise when i popped on to your blog to find a new chapter!!! It's taken me all morning, intersperced with work, to get though it. I'm impressed by the details and have enjoyed reliving the experience. I was just as disappointed by the sun rise and sun sets at Uluru, and we got to experience Katherine gorge in full on rain and got evacuated by the police because the water was too deep for our bus.
Looking forward to the next leg of your journey!! Where are you planning on going after Perth? xxx
hey hey, it;s been ages since i've heard from you, but then it's been ages since i've written. Love the look of your travel plans, didn't realise the distance was that far, driving all the way to China sounds like a major mission. all i can say is thank goodness for planes!
i got home 2 days ago and it sucks! Don't come back (er...in the nicest way) coming home is a real let down. Don't get me wrong i appreciate the hot showers, fluffy towels and the bed i never want to leave after a month camping in Africa, but that's about it. If i though it was feasible i'd be emigrating to South Africa straight away!!
Anyway, hope you're now on the road experiencing more that just Melbourne. I loved Alice and Darwin so hope you will too. remember, when driving, keep to the left!! xxx
The green eyed monster I have never been so jealous in my whole life! I would give my right arm...scrap that both my arms to have been at the Grand Prix. I was chuffed just to have been on the track! You're soooooo lucky xx
Sun I am pleased to report that the sun has come out in Cairns. I adore this town and have decided if i emigrate it'll be here rather than Sydney! I think I am somewhat swayed by the marvelous hopping centre. We've been outon the reef today in a massive boat wtih only 25 people on it. Was very luxurious. Did some diving and snorkelling and had the best time! I wish I could stay here forever. So, are you still working in Melb? what are you doing? when are you moving on? Hope life is treating you well, remember that suntan lotion! you don't want legs like mine in Noosa, hoprrendous short lines i tell you xx
Ah bless you for the title of 'lovely Victoria.' We've just got back from Fraser island (self drive 4x4). Loved driving the car, hated the massive bloidd-sucking flies. I've just had the best shower in the world and feel totally refreshed to go on a food hunt (yes it's 5pm, our time clocks are totally out of whack!) Hope you're having fun in (my second hone town) Melbourne. Any sign of a job yet? Take care xx
How about a new entry Hmm thought i'd written a comment in here but doesn't appear to have materialised. Hope you made it safe and sound to sunny Melbourne. keep your blog updated! look forward to seeing what you've been up to xx
Write something ok...what's with this blank blog? we are not ammused. Please write something interesting soon or I will not be compelled to read it!

Just looking at this after all these years have gone. It is clear my spelling and grammar have been atrocious, but great memories nonetheless.
