Love the "Alibi" bar, he he, few could own up to being being there at some time, someday! Freshman fee's boy! a few drinks at Sazerac would need to be downed to get that by parents. Love Huddo and girls.

Kings Row indeed.
Hi Mike, Food and "Jack" type beer sounded real nice there. Scallops must have been BIG to get that title. What a difference in Real Estate, 20k cash! at one end of town, then King William's titled street at the other. Love Huddo.

Greenbacks!
Hi Mike, Your "adopted" team got up, you beauty! Always think of Vince Lombardi, of the Packers. Stunning selection of photo's as usual Mike. The Korean war memorial one was very dramatic. Candy's catfish as well, the Mi Tierra decor, certainly unique! Emily Morgan hotel looked like a film facade, from your lens. Love Huddo and girls.

greetings
Michael, pleased 2 hear u arrived safely and are enjoying San Fran. I had everything intention of calling you 2 check your departure time and possible but drop off but Louise and yours truly were somewhat distracted with Tim in RNSH. He was discharged Thursday afternoon and the eye is looking much better but he is still feeling less than 100% - Well somebody has been in your head twice in one week!! So while I'm on the subject of being concerned about folks I have 2 say that Phil and Lex are in Cairo right now so let's hope all, including you, come home safely. Do have a great trip my dear, Melita

Hi Mike, That was amazing to read of 15th century chalk. Your description of those drawings, and the detail was superb, what a man ahead of his time he was indeed. Cafe Mozart, what a shingle to hang outside your business, the meal sounded pretty good as well, beer cheaper than coke! Bong shop photo, and the Albertina exterior, Cafe Mozart, great. Love the sales cartoon you sent to Lefty, he he, so true. Safe travel, onwards. Love Huddo.

Fast trains.
Hi Mike, Fast trains indeed, giddyup son@ he he. Opera house at the end of the street! Mum would love it. Love those shots of the yellow chairs, the size of them. The whole Gaertner thearte, with the shot looking down, the side view, the bar area, and the outside all looked superb. How about Jim's whiskey song going around, only in Gaertner! Love Huddo.

gouging by Rands/any currency by Travelex
Travelex - who seem to have a monopoly of the world airport exchange ripoffs - are absolutely the worst. Trouble is your bank also charges you 3.5-4% on the overall amount on ATM use - prepaid debit cards in Euro or USD are the only way I will go now (which on ATM use still (for the moment) charge only a flat fee per tranz - the way ATM cards used to be!) - otherwise outright cash of course with attendant supposed security risks.

in Joburg
Hi - leave joburg for BKK tomorrow - was quite interesting but v expensive place w tax, VAT etc. They really gouge u on the exchange rate - I used my atm card to withdraw 500R as the rate was so bad at the booth plus they whip out commission etc. Visited a project in Hillbrow which was pretty interesting. Of course I wish I had more time here to travel and visit Capetown and my friends in Moz ...maybe next time. Ate far too much food and bought some wine at the supermarket - pinotage - which is going down well with my 20 R chicken wrap. Bought some Roobios tea plus some other essentials such as undies and vitamin tablets. See u next week in BKK
