Cheese snacks.
Hi Mike, Great! to have you back, no news was NOT good news! Sounds like it was great to see your friends Francois and family again, now 3 children. Reminded me of mum's jam making with a 105 jars. "Nuclear Winter" story was something new, was unaware of that. Keep well, Love Huddo and girls.

hi
Hi - for some reason have not been notified of your recent blogs - maybe I accidentally unsubscribed??? Hope you had a nice time w Giselle et Francois. Everything is ok here, just busy busy.... I am off to Joburg for a meeting 11-13th Oct, back in BKK on 16th. Any suggestions on what to do if I have spare time? Was considering trying to cram in quick side trip to Maputo to see friends but a bit expensive. OK, have fun...B

Wandering loose.
Hi Mike, Another great blog. You have really got the knack of finding things, and places on your travels in Paree. Citroen 2cv, and yes that was Steve's green muzee. So many of those great photo's look like they would make it on any movie set anywhere. Love Huddo and girls.

Le Superb!
Hi Mike, Brilliant! Love the quick change, he he. Food review sounded very tasty, even though you had to "ask" them to take your francs! Love the photo's, the bike midnight run would be good. Love Huddo and girls.

Je t'aime Paris
Michel bon jour hardly seems a week since the stress of getting you to the airport! Great photos! St Chapelle is within the Palais de Justice so security is very tight but don't miss it and get there in the day light (preferably sunny) so that the glorious lead light windows can be fully experienced. There is another entrance to the Louvre which is sometimes shorter. I think it is to the right of archway (in your photo). There are several levels of shops and a food hall but the escalators will take you down to an internal entrance. Tight security here too but they gave me my swiss army knife back on my return. au revoir Melita

French fare.
Hi Mike, Hope the weather has picked up, and your sleeping patterns! I remember something about Les Halles, sounds like a place to miss. Had not heard of the film Benda Bilili, sounded very unique. No doubt you may venture onto the Louvre later, it must be still pretty busy? or is most of the tourista season over? Keep well, Love Huddo and girls.

Hi Mike, Great food! mussels really got you there, highest rating. Unique car selection, good spotting on the 40's Jag! Castro house and all the photo's again superb. Huddo.

San Fran.
Hi Mike, The music scene sounds "unuiqe" what a selection. The mission theartes looked like they would have been superb in their day, lack of patronage I wonder today? Beautiful photo's on "the bridge" 4 foot only fence! You have parlayed the local transport superbly, I think I mostly taxied it in a few times, plus rail. Huddo.

mickey Rourke arms.
Hi Mike, I now get the Arm Wrassler! Super powers indeed! Huddo.
9th June 2010

Beaut food!
Hi Mike, Makes you hungry jest reading that! Garcon! Looked, and sounded superb. Love the "off duty" pup, he he. Huddo.

the Grip - Wrestler update
in my earlier reply to John's comment I got confused - it was not the Grip machine I was thinking of in my comment but the mechanical arm wrestle machine (witht he hidden hydraulic ram?) - the mean masked (and unbeatable?) marauder is now inserted after the Grip!
9th June 2010

the Grip Test
no way John - left or right handed - musta been powered by a hydraulic ram cos I saw one guy try it and get flattened - it did warn you to try it on the wimp setting first! (standard liability warning?)

Bay of Plenty.
Hi Mike, Like the "career" pilot, he he, no pool room bum on that! Got one of my best purchases ever there, great jacket for $20. Freezing it was, before off to Alcactraz, still use it today. Morrocan meal sounded great, more great photo's, love the "grip test" my left handed grippers might get me up there! Love Huddo and girls.

I loved your San Francisco post and beautiful photos! Good to know about the 3 day pass vs the 10 day pass. San Fran is such an awesome city, I'm glad you're enjoying it! Near the historic ships in the harbor there is a little cafe that serves cold brewed coffee. I can't remember the name of it, so that's not very helpful, but perhaps someone in the area can tell you. It's a great little cafe and it's cheap too! My blog is looking for travel reviews, photos, etc, to share. If you have the time, check it out at dirty-hippies.blogspot.com, or email me at dirtyhippiesblog@gmail.com. Continued fun on your travels! Heather :)

Oak to the core!
Hi Mike, How about the homes in Preservation Park!, something else. A tad surprised they were towy about "zoom" lens, security plus. Beautiful shots again, Tommy's Joint, sounded like a pool room, not sandwiches! Oakland Fox, and those 2 clocks, plus the classic gridiron building were super. Huddo.
7th June 2010

Oakland.
Hi Mike, Good fortune at Berkeley, some radical history there, was that the campus they were fired on in the Viet Nam war protest? Not far out I think! Huddo.
7th June 2010

bears, and sunsets.
Hi Mike, What a trip you are having. Love all the photo's again, including the "Duke" John Wayne, to those not in the know! $45 for accom very reasonable there, the sunset description in the blog, was modest! compared to photo's. Number 5 with jet trail, reminded me of that movie about those young guys building rockets, then onto NASA (title escapes me) Keep up those "Muscle Car shots!" Love Huddo and girls.
