Made it to Madrid safe and sound! Well, my day started out on Thursday. I went for a run and did some last minute packing. Then off to the airport I went! Everything ran smoothly. There were hardly any people in Norfolk, but go figure...BOTH my bags were checked...I know I look completely suspicious. Then I had my 7 hour layover in Newark, which was actually not that bad. I walked around a bit trying to get my back used to my backpack that they let me plane side. It was sure nice to have all my luggage with me so I didnt have to worry about it being lost, but on the way home...i am NOT taking it again. Here is my first blog before I head to Spain to make sure I can get this right :) Wedding time! I went to a wedding in Leesburg with the Bailey clan. Ms. Abigail got hitched!!! It is exciting. I was able to stay with the Bailey's and enjoy the wedding. I also stayed with my dear friend Joy Bailey-Badillo and her husband, apparently my twin because we think alike! It was great fun. The rehearsal dinner was a cook out at a farm just outside of Fairfield. The wedding was simple and sweet. There was dancing, and most definitely some funny pictures of me. ... read more
