Got to the airport bright and early Saturday morning, 7 am. We waited around for 2 hours and the flight was about 2 hours, but the time change made it about 10 am when we got there. 9 of us went on the trip, 4 from my group (me, Maya, Lindsay, and Tamara), the other 5 from the community service program who we hadn´t met before, they were all from Europe. The airport in Galapagos is barely an airport, its just a little building, mostly without walls, with wooden benches and tour company stands. It´s on the island of Baltra, which is very small and is basically a desert; and without all the crystal clear turquoise water all around it, it seems like a bit of a let-down when you first arrive.
