and while I'm on a roll....... "Missourah" AND the term "snail mail" I like NEITHER,
since I am now a Missourian who delivers the mail for the United States Postal Service.
'Nuff said? That's my opinion and I'm stickin' with it! :)
So far away,...but, so close to home! Ha! Just had to add a comment on the above first paragraph in Exercise two. Good Grief, Molly!!!! Weren't you 'raised' in Nola's kitchen, and didn't it go the VERY SAME WAY??? You were pretty young, but,...IT DID! Sorry, but it just totally cracked me up =
hills is hills, Darlin', whether this home or that!, whether this family or that; Grandma's kitchens are Grandma's kitchens,...and men are men. South of the border and North! LOVE YOU!!!!
I loved this entry!! hahaha besides the whole water issue seems like things are great with you two! I want some updated pictures!! :) or one of him carrying the water!
Garden Seeds! Yes, Molly, you WERE right there, just workin' on your Ag site gardens. And Mario. Look out, Nicaragua!!!! Molly has LOTS of friends "back home" and garden seeds are coming your way!!
Project Concern International Hi!
I just happened to run across your blog on google and love reading it since I work with a non-profit based out of the U.S. that has a project in Jinotega...you've probably heard of it already but Project Concern International has a project in Jinotega where they "model" projects like the biolatrine. You can actually visit their farm, see how everything works, and figure out what materials/supplies you'll need to start implementing. Might be helpful to you!
I just got your letter today; thank you so much for sending it! It totally made my day. Now we know: it takes about three months for a letter to get from Nica to NZ. Wow. It makes you appreciate just how far away that is, and how lucky we are to have electronic communication and all that.
Guess You're Lucky! Guess you're just lucky that this Swine Flu didn't start attacking and killing people BEFORE you got to make your (free) trip up to Mexico City to see Arielle for a week, huh? I am so sorry, though, that she is leaving for this type of reason (as opposed to just being free to choose her own time schedule). Mostly, though, I am just so grateful that, at the moment, you are both still healthy and flu-free! Tamiflu for SARS, Swine Flu.......so glad that it currently works on these horrid new diseases. How about Your People....all OK so far??
XOXOXO
Letter and Postcard Wow! I'm so glad they found you, but I think that makes like 3 months for that letter to get there. I'm blaming it pretty squarely on NZ Post.
Also, the Aztec with an iPod rocks my world. That's awesome.
well,........ while all of the above 'goats and rabbits and worms' sounds like a very, very "interesting" week,...um....makes teaching English sound p.r.e.t.t.y darned good, huh? Ha! Your Dad loved it! Said that it sounds like they're teaching you everything you need to know to come back and live in our Ozark Hills back home!! Ha! You've certainly had a "varied" life so far, haven't you?!! Any of this helped you with decisions on what to do for Nica back at your site? (or what NOT to get into??). XOXOXO Chree's kittens are SO darned CUTE; still have their eyes closed, but held them today for just a second!
So GOOD to hear from you!!!!!! I'm typing on Ben's laptop since he has it plugged in and up. Molly, thank you for the update and for the TERRIFIC pictures!!! Great pics. Can hardly wait to talk to you and find out more about your recent travels!!! Another week away. We've been having storms, so not much computer time (umm....til late last night, you know). So, couldn't look up your latest plans. Hope you have a good week! WE LOVE YOU!! xo Oh! I am getting SO 'with it'. Ha! Ben won't check his cell for messages, so have (a teeny bit) learned to text so I can get him to answer me. rrrrrrrrrrrrrrr More later!
Hi, My Molly! Hey,...everything OK down there? No bloginess from you for over a week now. You ok? Computer ok? Nica ok? Tried to phone you a few minutes ago, but think that, "probably" the message said that you weren't there???? Don't speak de Espanol, so just talked to you in case it said to leave a message. No ending beep, tho. Then phoned Arielle and left a real short message. Hope that was ok. Chree had 3 gray kittens today! Tomorrow's Daisy's 13th BD. Love you! Dogwood Festival all weekend (fun mail delivery! ha!). XOXOXO Sent you a letter a coupla days ago. XOXOXO
DF? Um...what's DF? (caution:" SLOW Mom" Crossing, I guess. Sorry.)
Glad you're enjoying Street Food w/Arielle. I always thought that it was your favorite food in China, too. Not sure about the 10 lb. thang though,..."I" would give almost ANYTHING to lose just that 10!....let alone 65!! Good job, Dear! :) OK, continue enjoying and thanks for the updates! psst: HI, Arielle!
Thank You! aahhhhh So glad to hear that your journey went so well! Did you get your mail before you took off? OK,...IF you did,...remember to put peanut butter on your frig list!
Bye! Love you! ENJOY!
Am busy enjoying your photos...... over and over again and again. THANKS! 'Eyebrows' graduation attire is for high school ceremonies, right? And,...Lenin's???
Molly, we do SO hope that you're healthy and past your infections and allergies right now. You LOOK SOOOO good! Am so proud of you (with, perhaps, a teeny weeny tad of envy included!). Enjoy your week up "North"!! ps HI, Arielle!!!
