We began our trip in Bangkok, headed north through Thailand, then crossed the border into Laos. After about 2 weeks in Laos, we flew from Vientiane to Hanoi, Vietnam. We then bussed all the way south along the coast of Vietnam and ferried out to Phu Quoc Island. We returned to the mainland, and by boat crossed into Cambodia. After a week in Cambodia, we took a bus back to Bangkok. From Bangkok, we headed south this time down to the islands. We continued all the way south through Malaysia until we reached Kuala Lumpur. From KL, we flew to Cebu, Philippines. WE spent almost two months in the Philippines and visited all three regions: Mindinao, the Visayas and Luzon. We left by plane and headed to Kota Kinabalu, Borneo-Malaysia. We had three weeks in Borneo until we flew to Jakarta on the island of Java in Indonesia. We spent a week in Bandung on Java, then by way of train, ferry and bus made our way to Bali. We spent our final three weeks in Indonesia on the islands of Bali and Lombok. When our time in Indo ended, we flew from Denpassar to KL, spent one night and then took an Air Asia flight to London to begin our Europe travels.
