Brilliant blog Cindy :D Oh if only I'd been in Bali while you were there. We could of sat, sniggered and no doubt held our heads in despair at the pretentiousness of these vacuous old trouts together. Your sentiments sum up exactly how I feel about Bali which has sadly now become the Ibeefa of the East and a magnet for the world's morally devoid saddoes!
FILMSTAR IN BANGKA Looks like a lovely spot...a lot of us are blogging Indonesia lately...opening up this exotic destination...and the film stars...they are everywhere...pleased to see you graced the Manado catwalk...what about Bangka..?
A Rhodochiton would go well with your Clitoria hee hee :P My wife frequently asks me, "Is that an Amorphophallus in your pocket or are you just pleased to Arisaema?" Sorry, I'll stop with the plant jokes :/
To quote your blog: Tarsiers "...look both hilarious and a little disturbing, like Yoda had a love child with Gizmo from Gremlins." What a perfect description of these adorable creatures!
You always, always make me laugh and smile as I read your blogs. The tarsier is a bit Yoda like. Very cool. I know they thought you were nuts spending that amount of time photographing the flower but memories are pricelss and we search for those moments as we travel. That is why we travel. Spent the day making an outline for our trip in August. Yippy.
Be safe and waiting for more.

Very entertaining! Hi Cindy,
Your blogs are fabulous. Thailand is definately on our travel agenda, and after reading your blogs, I think sooner rather than later! I'll be looking forward to your next blog.

Looks like Labour day in Vietnam is a time to avoid being in Vietnam. Inflated prices and crowds are what I like least about travel. Thanks for the warning! :)
Cold and snowy Hi Cindy,
I'm currently located in the frozen and snowy Cape Cod area of Massachusetts. This morning I was on the blogger of the week nomination page and ran across this blog again. So entertaining- it made me laugh and forget about all this ice.
Tears in my eyes Cindy, I'm sorry but I have laughed so hard that I have tears in my eyes. What a mess you were in but other than poverty it ended safely. Maybe you can make your $800 back by selling the puppies.
You must continue to write.........
Hiya :) I'm a 50 year old free spirited lady from Australia who just updated her profile because I realised i am no longer 46 and am also not Peter Pan. I like to spend life doing ridiculous things and have no intention of ever stopping. I've taken a year off to explore the planet and reward myself for well, years of work.. Im very much a seat of your pants traveller and totally irresponsible. Most of my travels are spur of the moment run away from home episodes and my teenage sons are cool with this. Im at peace with knowing riotous times dont have to stop when your supposed to have grown up... full info
