Although it was raining, we got in the van and drove to Grandfather Trout Farm in Banner Elk, NC. We had done some research, and it seemed like a good fishing spot for us. Only our oldest son had been fishing before; my husband doesn't like fishing; and it had been years since I had gone fishing with my dad. We had no equipment, but the Trout Farm supplied it all. With ponchos on, we walked to the entrance. They handed us a bucket, net, that metal thing to remove the hook (can you tell I don't fish?), a can of corn and tub of worms.
