Hi Hi Krissy, I'm the guy that sent you a box of books in Tz. Just curious; are you still in the Peace Corp? I thought the Peace Corp assignment was 2 years. Sounds like you're a teacher in Antiqua. I enjoy reading about your travels. A real surprize to see your name pop up again after so many months. Have fun! Mat

Mwaciti Um Krissy, you have some spelling errors. Mwaciti who features Chidi Benz (not chid beenz) and their song is Hao (not hoo). Youre lucky I'm here to correct you. :) :) its on YouTube. I like it. Miss youuu!!!!
finally on their way one box of books is finally on the way, second one I'll send out in a couple weeks when I'm back in town. They aren't text books but I'll try for more of those.
Hope you guys have a fun time, I'm really sad I missed this trip. I can't wait to see the pics and here all the stories.
hey, hey!!!! Yes! you should be PCV of the week- and teach all the newbies, like myself, what is up! i am sure they are scared S-less and you need to tell them all the wonderful things that you do!
I'm glad to hear you are all right and everything even though the transportation is a bit questionable. I figured I'd post about hectares, haha I only know this from being in New Zealand but 1 hectare is around 2 acres. so 10 hectares is I think almost 25 acres. glad to hear that overall you're having a good experience in tanzania.
ps it's almost your birthday, you'll be an even older fart like me =)
more than you know;) Krissy, there are LOTS of us out there reading your blogs!:) :) :) I've alerted several of my friends to your blog because they are always asking me q about Jessica's life there. So I figure though she has diff issues, diff locale, the flavor/challenges are similar and we can get a good pic of subSaharan life from you! And I love that you keep it all real! Thanks for the updates! Enjoy your time in D!
hey krissy so i was watching the national geographic channel and i heard about tanzania having prides of man eating lions! of course im not sure if it is all of tanz or just a certain region or what but it made me a little nervous so i thought id share this with you, though i'm sure you already are aware of wild animals and traveling with other people etc. anyways hope you had a good thanksgiving =)
Tell us about your home / village So no electricity. How far from Singida. What is house made from and do you have a finished floor? Does Singida have a couple of paved streets?
baby maya arrives!!! Maya Hanako Hori born on guess whose birthdays?!!
weighing 7 lbs 9 oz and 22 inches long. Seiji, Claudia and baby are doing fine, just a little (!!!) tired after a day and a half of labor. Maya is beautiful, very long fingers and toes, and has a lot of hair. Her eyes are a gray-brown color for now.
