OMG!!! I can't believe James and I wasted all of our time at the British Museum, Westminster Abby, Buckingham Palace, The Tower of London, St. James Place, the Tower Bridge, Windsor Castle, The Crown Jewels, The London Zoo, Thames River Boat Ride, Big Ben Tower, Double Decker Bus Tour, Harrods, and etc., when we could have gone to Liverpool! Guess we'll just have to go back...
This just in... Pete Townshend's Classic Quadrophenia, his new, 'symphonised' version of The Whos landmark album Quadrophenia, has sold enough copies needed to secure the No.1 position in the Classical Charts several times over. However, the orchestral record has not been accepted into the Classical Chart, preventing Townshend from achieving what, in sales figures, would have been his first Classical No.1 record.
Abbey Road I love how a 45 year old album cover is still SO important! Great to hear about everyone there trying to get the same shot :-) How many other album covers or even works of art ilicit this sort of repsonse from us all?
Great blog Ken, You write like you speak. Your descriptions are articulate and very interesting. It's all I can do to keep from giving notice to my employer and heading to the airport for parts unknown. Bob
