doldrums
All work no play makes a dull boy the saying goes. Seems like more action / playmates would be beneficial. Do you think the Ukranians went away over the hottest period - perhaps when its not so hot more folk are about during the day?

Good on you two
You can appreciate why it takes so long for jobs to get finished in places like this. I'm pleased that you aren't stressing because there isn't any point. Great to see that you guys are having such a fantastic time. The other night there was a segment on 60 minutes or something similiar about wrestling in NZ which I taped for you. Will have to remember to put the tape somewhere safe now, for how long???? How long will you be working on this job? Take care, enjoy the heat, bloody freezing here but we're now on to the third most glorious winter's day in a row so can't complain

tops & gardens
I can see what you mean re the tops the girls wear ie purple scarfed chick. The gardens look well looked after and a lovely place to be. Do the barrages act like aquaducts ie irrigation channels / do they regulate the flow in/ out of the two tributaries?

Man look & men at church gates
Whatever Manlook does its certainly done something for you Erin. How slim you look! Do you eat it, wear it or is it a hair product? The men at church gate men are soft drink hawkers then..

Personally I drink as little as possible and just hang on. Not sure about significance of churches but they all contain relics of saints. Egyptians never turn up on time, we went to the Arabic Anglican service which supposedly started at 7 but no-one was there till about 7.30 and then it started at 8.
