Sunny Scotland! Just goes to show, all round the bloody country and the one place you get a glimpse of the sun is Bonnie Scotland! All those lies about it being full of black clouds and glum skinflints....
I bet Nik topped up on his David Dickinson Tango Tan when the sun peeped out, I think Lachlan thought he was other-worldly, a strange-coloured being with a foreign accent. Enjoy the wilds, I'm sure there'll be some Highland Games where Nik could toss his caber. Happy travelling! Love Gin, The Admiral and Damian 3 xxx
Am loving reading the entries. Will keep checking up on what you're up to.Think your'e very missed at work at the moment what with PTAs sports day and the summer fete coming up. Have fun-Amy and Matt
very very jealous Wow Nik, Neet has taken all my witty jokes re: your dinosaur finger and being on the computer sooooooooooooooooooooooolong.I think i'm still winning the battle. It looks so pretty mind you anything is better than Paulsgrove !!
Glad to see you still can't spell. Oh the memories of my geography field trips in the lakes and on Mallam cove, and it sounds like your both having alot of fun. (By the way i'm 45 but you can tell everyone i'm 44 if you wish !) Hope you treated june well in her birtday and sounds like the pace is pretty quick in your outdoor pursits...you'll be competing in the ironman competitions when you get back.
Hope the weather picks up for you both soon...think of the wrinkles you wont be getting!!
Well we all want to know about the Reg and Paisley situation...is it a dog..i mean the woof woof variety !!! I hpoe it's a female but i have my doubts. Bet June is loving being back with her family and it will be nice to have Lisa there...perhaps she could type for you !
Well it definitely is quieter without you so i hope you are loving your sabattical and afterall Clair is doing a great job and there is NO smelly sweat around the place, although i miss the fun !
Take care both of you, keep having a great time ....the best is yet to come
Enjoy
RSD and other hazards of typing Chist Nik! That must be the longest piece you've ever typed. That one finger must be really sore now cos it must have taken ages! Conclusion: That blog entry was a deliberate In-law avoidance measure. Also, what about the gradual decline of spelling? Conclusion: In the 10 hours it took to type it, it can be safely assumed that Nik consumed one too many glasses of the red fermented grape juice! Finally, it was also a bit deep and meaningful. Very out of character! Conclusion: Jep! He was pissed!
pikeys always knew june was a pikey, going home for appleby fair no doubt.still trading horses ( or horses for horse power now)

Sunny Aberystwyth(Now youve gone!) Youre still traveling North as I write. Just thought I'd let you know all the flies have gone now, so can I strongly recommend you have a shower before you leave Wales.
Regards from Bontgoch
Big Fanny I remember that one. Bloody long walk. Had to rescue Katharine S. with a snickers bar before she collapsed from hypoglycaemia. Remember Nik. or were you too busy running up and down hills with Martin W. or perhaps you were playing 20 questions. For the record June, the answer is Paul Harradines semen! Missing you already
Depressed Daughter!!! Hello.....
Just back from India and finding work less than inspiring, so filling time updating your blog with my own adventures!!!
India was fab and fun filled and despite the weather being ridiculously hot (37 degrees +), have yet again managed to remain my usual pasty white colour rather than the glorious golden brown everyone else seemed to be sporting! Never mind eh.....
Visited some amazing places, inc. historic cave temples in Ellora, and the Pink City (Jaipur)....also managed to lose my passport in my first week.....found it the next day though, so all good and no horrendous police station trips or embassy nightmares....phew....
Naturally planning next trip and thinking back to India in November for Diwali, but before that I have exciting weekend trips in England planned, staying in the exclusive silver van, in a field somehwhere!!!!
I hope you are enjoying sunny Wales....lots of love Lisa (aka abandoned Daughter!!!)
We are finally escaping for a year....children are now all grown up apparently, so we can now start enjoying ourselves!! In an effort to be part of the 21st century, we are endeavouring (with the help of offsring) to set up our very first travel blog...feel free to track our progress as we head from place to place...happy reading...... full info
