What a pair! Hi guys, Thoroughly enjoyed your last blog but not as much as Wayne. Whilst reading he kept saying 'been there', 'been there' ,'done that' but was in awe of Nik's antics as he 'didn't do that'!!!! although wished he had. Keep having fun and supplying some fun escapism for the rest of us poor people. With love Jayne xx
Adios desde Tenerife Hola

Adios Stuart
P.S. May not scan that well, but it’s my best effort !!
yellow belly I am hurt about the comment re Lincolshire, there are many different types of cabbage (as you well know nik), and the history behind those dykes and ditches is far too long for me to put in a comment box, didnt think you were that shallow (scuse the pun), your names have been given the the border patrol. mmmm sez it all about the crocs.
Mountain frolics! When you said that Tommy had a hard time going up and down I thought at first the Nik had being trying to recreate a scene from Broke Back Mountain!
Howdy from Chichester Hi guys, only just read all your blogs (i'm computer illiterate). Needless to say i'll be tuning in on a regular basis to read your funny, fascinating, and informative blogs, well June's bits anyway, only joking Nick you are funny sometimes, normally in the pictures! It looks and sounds as if you're having a fab time and what a wonderful way to get closer to each other, wether you want to or not. The crocs are a definite passion killer though so i hope you both take them off when you have a fumble in the foliage.
All is well here in rainy Chi just a little blury, Phil and I drank our own body weight in booze last night at a fancy dress party, no surprises there then. Don't want to bore you too much with the mundanities of normal life so ill just send our love and best wishes for the rest of your journey and we'll be looking forward to reading the next installment. Fab pictures by the way i'm actually tempted to venture over but maybe not till i've got over my fear of the american accent, i've heard it can actually damage your braincells.
Thinking of you both and loads of love xxxxxx from us
Caught up Glad to read your latest blog and you both are ok. Thought you might be caught up in the fire in california!! All ok this end Stu and Sally still in Tenerife we go for a week on 16 nov. Sounds as if your having a great trip all the best.
Where are you now Hi June n Nik,
We were in Vegas last week. Now in San Diego, are you coming in this direction. There is an Irish Bar called the Field in town, they are showing the Rugby World Cup Final, see you there at midday if you are able, if not. Don't gamble everything in Vegas, just do the Stratosphere, all rides, then carry on touring safely.
take care, Steve and Vickii
one that is doing the rounds- hope the photo goes through
Subject: Good to see they haven't forgotten who their colonial masters are
Know your role Australia!
Sport Portsmouth beat Reading last week 7-4 at fratton park highest scoring game ever in the premiership! Also i geus you know but england are in the semi by beating aus 12-10. You look like ure having a good time from the pictures. Nice van!!! speak soon Big T
Kiwi Nik and June,
You must understand you are no longer welcome in NZ as ABs out of world cup. Althou this is less hurtful than the fact that England is still in! Sounds like travels are going well. Hope you plan to visit us in NZ.
rugby Hi yo both
Glad you're seeing lots of wild beasties and spectacular scenery. Dont forget you can eat the beasties. We all well. Eng.36-Tonga.20. We played much better. Wales lost to Fiji. Scot.beat Italy by 2 pts. Tomorrow Ireland v Pumas. I am watching all these on my new telly. Have phoned after every every game but your mobile is always turned off. Enjoy San Fran. etc.
Hi from Tenerife Just caught up with your latest BLOG, can sympathise with your spanish, we have had 2 lessons now, as we have given up on the CD's and phrase books. Just working out mascaline and feminines, our teacher is a lass from Blackburn so that probably doesn't help !
You tour seems to be living up to expectations especially the wildlife encounters. Junes turd fetish needs theropy before it gets out of hand.
Our news, apart from lying in the Sun, over 90 today. We went up the cable car to Teide at 12,500 ft, should have thought it might be cold and changed out of my flip flops.
Dont now if anyone has told you but Mourinho has left Chesea, bust up with Abramovich. Grant ex Israli no hoper taken over and lost next game to Man U.
Anyway, back from Tenerife on 30th Sept and back out again on 12th Oct until December, then out to Prague before Christmas.
Anyway thats our news, cant wait to hear about your standup, any news on that, when, where.
Stuart
caught up hi Nik and June glad to see all going well. Feeling envious. me and Astrid got back from norway on 22sept after good trip. sal and stuart in Tenerife till 30thsept and then come back for all of 2 weeks!!! keep the blogs comming.Hi to Lisa and Tom. hope you are both ok.
hope your having a great time every things fine in england and we all hope your havin a blast in all the hot and cold wheather and with all the traveling you've been doing. seen your pics and their great see you in 8 mounths, i think?
Wish we were there! Hi folks great photos. The less we see of nik, the less there is to see of nik! Less hair and he's gone all skinny! Even little old ladies aren't intimidated by him anymore. 'Nik and handsome'? not words you'd normally find together in the same sentence but then again most eighty year olds are visually challenged aren't they! I'd like to see how elderly Alaskan bikers strap their labradors to their motorcycles - Nik- Claire and I are organising our own unofficial opening ceremony for the rehab building in two weeks. Yes we've been in exactly one year today! Having a competition for a name for the courtyard - any suggestions? Love Neet
Rugby news... Shock of the tournament - Argentina beat France on opening night in France and it was a brilliant match....Ireland Vs France is going to be really interesting as will Ireland Vs Argentina...at least that group is something to get excited about!
Although at a friends' wedding on Saturday and fearful I may miss the rugby....I successfully charmed the bride's father and managed to convince him to let us watch the rugby in his living room 9reception was marquee in garden), only to be joined by the vicar!!! Match was very uninspiring and ended England 28 USA 10....Uh Oh! Didn't see S.A. Vs Samoa, but apprently Samoa looked quite good and yet S.A. still won 59-7 - one thing that stands in Englands' favour is that Jean De Villiers is out with a torn Bicep......
In other sporting news from Saturday England beat Isreal in the football and England also beat India in the cricket - I do believe as a nation we may have peaked!
Hope you are both well...photos are amazing and 'Tommy the Truck' looks much nice than I imagined...speak to you soon Lisa xxx

Keeping an eye on things! Loving your journal June, especially the breathtaking pics and witty comments - life in Granada Road is so dull in comparison! Keeping a watchful eye on your place but sadly nothing to report!! Cilla, Vic and girls XX
Who's Hugh Salmon?! And what's he doing in the river!!! Sounds like you're having a fab time...very jealous here - although I am off to the wilderness of the Lake District this weekend, where I will have to have my wits about me with all those vicious sheep, cows and red squirrels about....followed by a hen weekend to Budapest next weekend, which I imagine will be slightly less civilised!!
Hope South Alaska is as good as North - hopefully hear from you soon and look forward to the photos....Lisa (aka Maggot) xxx
We are finally escaping for a year....children are now all grown up apparently, so we can now start enjoying ourselves!! In an effort to be part of the 21st century, we are endeavouring (with the help of offsring) to set up our very first travel blog...feel free to track our progress as we head from place to place...happy reading...... full info
