beautiful country
You have wonderful photos. I went to Bhutan in Dec.05 as well. I really love the country so much, it is so pure, natural and serene. And amazingly, I had the same guide as yours "Tshering Dorji".

What wonderful experiences!
Read all your blogs right from the visit to Iran to Bhutan with avid interest. Extremely well written, very cheeky and really good photos. Really enjoyed it. Good stuff.

I was in Bhutan in July of '04 and this past summer we hosted 6 Bhutanese kids and their chaperone in Telluride as part of an exchange/homestay program. Love your blog. Brings back all the wonderful memories of this incredible country. I sent home extensive journals, but had no blog. Thanks for yours. Beautiful pictures.

You are an incredible photographer, I was in Bhutan around the same time as you but my pictures look nothing like yours, great blog and what an experience we had, I struggle to explain to my friends. Thanks, your pictures will help, if you want to have a look at my blog my name is degrubs http://www.travelblog.org/Bloggers/degrubs/ I haven't gotten round to talking about Bhutan yet but will shortly. Thanks again Chris

A righteous observation...
...let's just say that I did not want to embarrass my hosts and the Royal Bhutanese Army.

Huh?
So...Who won the Volleyball match? You can't just present something like two countries national volleyball teams competeing, and not say what the outcome was.

Go for it!
Just make sure you cut through all the red tape well in time before the journey and it will be a breeze. No tour itinerary = no visa = no ticket = no entry. Unless of course you want to try your luck with the rebels that operate on the Indian border...

Hey, just reading your Bhutan blog. It looks and sounds amazing. Might have to add that one to the list if I'm in the area. Great pictures.
