I'm impressed For a guy that sounds like he loses his current pair of sunglasses every 2 days you sure manage to find some good looking replacement pairs every time.
beautiful! I have loved your commentaries and photos of this remarkable journey you have been taking together! Thank you for your details, photos, and musings. I feel like I have been taken along on the ride...So much beauty you have taken in - to last a lifetime! The Daddy, Daddy incident sure sounded anxiety-producing and scarey though! And I imagine you surely saw abundant poverty and pollution. Mary's photo of the river was ghastly! I'm glad you were able to be so immersed in nature...Love, Nancy
Oh so that's where Chrysler got it's logo They found that big ugly looking pentagon brown looking starfish thing and said, WE MUST HAVE THIS FOR OUR NEW CAR COMPANY
That ride.... That ride looks more like one of those Kid's Land rides, Toads Great Adventure or whatever it's called, at Disneyland. It's just flat! But leaning over the edge must have been awesome.
wrapping it up reading your KSR tribute, i grew nostalgic with you - your 4th time on KSR (!), quite the seasoned wanderers - we are so-o-o looking forward to joining you in Puerto Princesa - safe travels till then!
Should recruit a buncha large people Get a tour filled with large NFL linemen to take the tunnel tour, see if the guide tries to shove them into that entrance hole
New years in Nha Trang One fun thing we did at Nha Trang was to take the ski tram over to Vin Pearl ...kind of a fun theme park. The ski tram is the longest over salt water tram in the world and is fun....Hope you can try it out.
Happy New Year Hi Gabe & Stephanie,
I finally caught up with your expedition by reading all Gabe's entries from China to January in Vietnam. Seems to be a heavy rivers and waterfalls theme in much of the journey. Thanks for the interesting descriptions and few photos and videos. We just enjoyed having Kate, Jef & baby John here for the holiday with Tom's sister Janice also arriving and three Garrisons - Hannah, Meg & Joe - passing through to visit with Nutters, Lowrys and Andreasens plus Ellinor (Swedish exchange student in Jane's room this year) and Jane's new boyfriend, Avery, from Minnesota and also a freshperson at Earlham College. I guess my new year's resolution that I'll keep is keeping up with your travels. Sure hope Mary & Ed get a chance to visit you. Now on to Stephanie's blog.
