We woke up to a sunny Sydney. In the morning it is was a little windy but it soon died down. After breakfast and the obligatory coffee from the coffee shop on the corner we walked down to China town. It was only a few blocks away from our hotel. As we arrived around half past nine the first shops where slowly opening and we saw many Asian’s hurrying to grab some breakfast. We ended up by Paddy’s Market, an old fruit and vegetable market hall that have changed into a general market. It is full of the most varying sort of stalls and goods. We have just arrived in Sydney after a long flight. It took all of 26 hours from airport to airport but we are feeling OK. Tired but OK. The flight with Cathay Pacific was very good. Economy class had OK legroom and service was good with just one miss hap. I got a glass of water poured all over my lap. Although uncomfortable it dried qickly and I kept thinking about how much worse it would have been if she had dropt the mug of nodules instead. We had a short and snappy transfer in Hong Kong. We just got a glimpse of it as we queued for boarding but the boys where really excited and wants to go there some day. The apartment is spacious and central so we are very happy. ... read more
