Good morning!!!!

We were all very good and stayed up until 11pm (kids) 12pm Fredrik and myself

This morning we woke up at around 8:30 had a good breakfast and went out to explore and decided to go to the zoo.

From our apartment we walked through the centre of the business district with many seriously looking suits. We found a nice coffee bar to get our first coffee to go. It was a 20-minute walk to the Circular Quay where we took the ferry from the second pier to the Taronga Zoo. From the ferry we had a beautiful view of both the Opera house and Harbour Bridge. There were even some sailing boots out mid winter 😉

The ferry only took 10 min and after we arrived you could choose how to enter the zoo. We decided to take the cable cars so we would start at the top of the zoo.

First thing we saw were of course the Koala’s sleeping… after that we looked at all the Australian animals like Wallabies, kangaroos, salty crocodiles, domestic spiders, snakes, Tasmanian devils, Platypus, Wombats and beautiful Australian birds…

On our way home we stopped for some shopping and tonight’s dinner included salad and chicken, for desert we got small donuts, cookies and real Irish coffee with double cream!!!

It is getting hard to keep kids awake but we are going to play a card game called Skip-bo

Time notification
You wrote that the kids woke up at 11:00 pm and yourself at 12:00 pm (midnight) Should that not be 11:00 am and 12:00 am (noon)? 24 h. notification does not lead to misunderstanding. Hans
