Fiona, ta for your postcard. The more I see of your photos the more jealous of your trip i become. Sounds like you're having a real laugh. You enjoy it! And keep the blogs coming!!!!!
Oops - i'm late You are now at the half way mark girls with so many good memories Great to hear from you with all your exciting adventures, we are all jealous . Hope all is going well in Sydney. I have also had 3 days holiday but not enjoying it as much as you lot. Pictures are great. Keep the travelblobs up as I had lots of calls from sisters, mums, friends and colleagues asking for the news from you all.
Take care
Joan
Wicked pics as eva!! V. jealous! Hola!! Hope you guys are well! Sorry I haven't blogged u for awhile!! Fiona - have u suddenly changed to being a hammer's supporter - forever blowing bubbles!. Those Kiwi men look NICE!!!! Watch out their sticky-outy-bits!!! Jem - spoke to Bex - she's back in the country safe and sound! Gina - very chilled and relaxed under water - any mermaid relations??!!
Keep on doin what ya doin! Well envious! MIss ya - wish I was there!
lots of love Cums xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
oooppss!! silly mum For some reason girls I went onto the next journal and have only just seen this one. I read my e.mail and thought you had repeated the title twice . I must put the right glasses on. I had to look twice at nemo it looked like a toilet with a fluffy cover on the lid and funny things on the floor but it's ok I can see clearly now.Penguins look cool I like them to. The view from the sky tower looks amazing especially in the dark. Did'nt fancy bungee jumping of that then? It's a wonder you did'nt do the golf all day to get prize money I think I could see potential in the swinging action but then that's coming from someone who hits the mat instead of the ball and makes her whole body vibrate.the rubber ring in water caves looks good fun quite scary in the dark but good for joking about.Take care we always enjoy hearing from you and seeing the photo's. Lots of love to you all mum and dad and nan and grandad xxxx
Hey mingers! Ha ha - you girls look hilarious in your wet suits and on rubber rings! Why is it, Jem, that you always spoil what would be a nice photo (ie. one of you dancing with straight hair - for a change) by making stupid faces or phones4u hand gestures!?!?! Just think - the 3 hours walking must be making you all so slim and fit.
Til next time, Jo xx
Fun down under Glad to see you have all arrived safely - good to get the next series of blogs.
Hope the natives are as freindly as I am led to believe - all of our friends who have visited NZ say they would like to stay there.
Love from us to you.
seal encounters of a gina kind That made me laugh and brought back memories of another girl who thought she had found the most beautiful peacock feather in the bushes, picked it up only to be frightened to bits when she realised the peacock was still attached and was not amused (the peacock as well as Fiona).
So you fell through slats in the bunk bed - how much weight have you put on Fi or were you pi**ed and simply fell off.
You seem to have spent so much time in the water dont know you needed a bath - plenty of bubbles in the spring.
Watch out OZ here come the terrible trio - lock up the bars.
sealed with a kiss Hi girls it's great to get another blog I think we got spoilt with all the blogs from s.america and we have been awaiting another in what seems ages.Once again the photo's look great and show what a good time you are having.I was so keen to see if you all looked ok I did'nt think you had written anything until i went back to the start.Fiona you know the other two don't like as much excercise as you are you sure they actually went round the maze at all. I am glad you are still in one piece Gina and that you did'nt get eaten by that seal I bet that's the quickest you have moved in a while.Jem even under the water you manage to keep your mouth open is there no end to your talents.Baywatch Babe photo is a nice one of you all. I must say I am rather pleased the sky diving was booked up. For myself not for you. There is no doubt you will try in Oz to sky dive given half the chance.Enjoy it all while you can loads of love to you all Mum and Dad Casey xxxxx
What's that smell So I've now received my first smellyblog - had to open the window to let out the sulphur stink. Glad you kept your feet on the ground or at least in the water and didn't attempt the bungy jump off the sky tower.
The worm's eye views of you all in the caves made 'glowing' pics. I didn't know worms could use cameras.
Wondered how long it would take before you returned to your natural habitat and wetted the proverbial whistle again - sounds like you did a good job.
Well seen South Island done that onto North Island what a life!
Humphhhh! So gratifying to hear you girls are having such an amzing time! Betsy how comes you seem to be the only one who doesnt have foot problems, are they made of asbestos or smthg? So I guess you are in NZ now, can't wait to hear about that!
Betsy guess what - in true Barbados style I am off on a work trip to Br....Br......Brazil! which should be cool. Will let you know how it goes. At least that will go some way to numb my sheer jealousness!
Take care Simon xoxo
Journey so far Got to say girls, although it has taken me about an hour to go through all of your travelblogs, (I am home for the easter weekend) they are very entertaining and I am very very jealous!!!!!
Been really nice in Ireland over the last couple of weeks, have even ventured to get out the vest tops!!! Keep up the separte emails - one clean and one not so clean, so that I am updated and anytime you want to call - be my guest. Missing you all (more than I actually thought I would). Take care of yourselves and each other. Lynz, Garret and Sasha XXX
Nice pics - very envious! hello! just a quick line to say hope you're having a fantastic time! Terribly jealous! It looks so warm and inviting - I wanna go!
Moved into the house! SO when you return from your wanderings around the world you can come up and stay in Northampton and check out the house!
Take care - love you lots, Cums xxx
I do porn!! Gina, first time i got to look at your photos, and what can I say but I'm totally fing jealous...so brill your having fantastic time though...ur not missing much over here....believe me!! Bring me back a nice ozzy man..will ya?!!
Goodbye South America Well you have seen a lot in your 2 months in S.America. You have entertained many with your experiences. Jemma even had a bit of luck when the car missed her rucksack. Your photographs taken in the water brought back memories of years ago of Scotland where if there was water you had to go in it.
You have seen fantastic sights and I look forward to seeing New Zealand through your eyes.
Love to the 3 of you
Joan

Hi Trio Brilliant pics yr taking, what memories yr all going to have for years to come. I thought salt was good for cuts and sore skin, maybe you all should have indulged! Enjoy N.Z, I`m sure you`ll all have a fab time. It`s great receiving all yr blogs, such a good way to keep in touch. Stay safe and continue having fun! Lots of love Jem.....Janey xx
Just updated ELO, we have just got back from Cuba, so have been getting the updates of your adventures, which have made great reading. We do intend to do the Inca trail before we get to old and hopefully before they impose the restrictions. I like the raft on the river with all your smelly belongings, which by now could do with a wash.? Most people tell me that NZ is just like home but with better scenery and less people, we will see. Love to all Jan/Mal Page
Salty scenes Trust you to find a wheelbarrow in the middle of the salt plains - so you thought you'd bring back some free samples - no thanks.
Its quite a coincidence that whilst reading your blogs there have been several TV programs mentioning the same places you visit. Tonight the Planet Earth program visits the Atacama desert - so I'll watch out to see if any of you feature as one of the unusual birds - greater pickled backpackers perhaps.
Anyway my geography of south america is much improved after reading your travelogues - 'of all the bars in all the places'
Coming next on a screeen near you 'antipodean adventures' - cant wait.
new jobs I see you are all getting trained up for new jobs. Gina and jem testing the railway for british rail and fiona as a barrow girl at surrey street market.Stand by me - a good film, I would like to see how fast you could run if a train came up behind you like on the film.Plenty of salt around then girls it looks pretty amazing but I bet you had to be careful about rubbing the salt into your wounds.the spa looks good I would'nt mind that but it's the cold bit after that might be a bit off putting.Every time we get a blog it makes us realise how much you are seeing and doing and how exciting it all is for you. Lucky girls. may be Jemma has had the rough part with coping with Gina and Fiona being sick. Good on yer jem. Love to you all Den and John xxxx
Fantastic Glad you all made it and still smiling at the end of it. Getting rid of your rucksacks was a very good idea - bit of a girlie idea but still a good one.
The shop lady obviously had not seen someone like Jemma - and I am sure she tried on a jumper or 2. Did like the nice woolie scarfs you were all sporting in the pictures - no I don't want one as a pressie. By the way which one was the goat??????
Love to you all probably next time we talk it will be in NZ.
xx
Joan
Fiona,
I am so jealous! Your pics of the trail are great. And I bet the trek was worth it. You can come hiking with me when you get back!
Lots of love

'Congratulations' fionajemmagina Another emminently suitable song title for your 'wee walk in the hills'. The 'sun gate' picture was stunning and must have looked magnificent when first seeing it (was it as good as the grand canyon).
Guess you've got feet up now for a bit - need to rest your ankle with a little well deserved lubrication ( I'm sure you dont need telling).
Shepherds What can i say girls the photo of stinky stooges really makes jemma look as if she has found her vocation as a shepherdess, but going by your tails in the alcohol department i don't think any sheep or goats would ever get lead to any grass. Just because they say bbaaa it does'nt mean that is where they want to go.(clever that i thought of that all by myself). I must say after viewing the inca trail on web I was a little concerned for your safety and am glad Jemma did'nt topple over the edge I don't think she would have liked that unless she is into pain!!I hope Fiona's knee is feeling better and she doesn't look too much like an o.a.p . Hope your harris is better as well Gina. It does'nt surprise me in the least that you paid for the help in carrying your backpacks I must admit I would probably do the same.Glad you arrived back safely.Looking forward to next blog. Love to you All mum Casey xxx
Monday monday I'm reminded of the song whilst reading of your adventures and looking out at the damp dreary monday morning we have here. I'm sure we would all rather be where you are despite the culinary shortcomings. Extraordinary pictures of the floating busses. Wonder what the insurance premiums are?
Out in the middle of Bolivia and you meet with 'scousers' - suppose they just couldn't watch their team anymore.
Double bubble Hi girls yet another interesting read. It's like having two meals for the price of one I guess in a round about way , you get to see it twice but only eat it once (at least I hope so).Jemma was obviously not going to part with anything. Next time let jem do a food test for you as her stomach seems a bit stronger than yours.I'm glad the others turned up at the end cos by the sounds of it if they were in trouble I don't think an s.o.s would have been sent out by you three.Nice to see pics of Peruvian people and the surrounding areas.Take care Love mum dad nan and grandad xxxx
floating coach The coach does look as though it is going to sink at any moment. I can just see all your faces at the thought of your designed gear in your rucksacks going down.
Obviously you three are relaxing too much - a little pedalo tiring you out. Three big strong girls against one baby pedalo.....I don't know
Take care and love to you all.

Myself , Gina and Jemma have decided to pack in our jobs in favour of 6 months backpacking round the world.
Starting in Rio in February we are travelling around Brazil, Argentina, Chile and taking on the Inca trail in Peru. After South America we are returning to the western world and some hot showers in NZ and Oz before and a week basking in the Bali sun. After recharging our batteries in Bali we're off again to Singapore, travelling up through Malaysia to the Thai islands, Bangkok and hopefully time permitting to Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam.... full info
