It's time you visited Kingston ACT Hi Em, come to Canberra and we'll take you for Brunch or Coffee in our Kingston. You could start something here - a travel log of 'Kingstons around the world'.
I never thought I would say this!! Only 25 degrees in Kingston - well lucky you! This summer, here in the UK, when the temperature has reached 20 we have thrown a party. What with the floods and constant grey skies "It sounds like you are getting a lot of better weather than we are". Crips what an admission. Hey ho lets hope it improves for next year.
A great birthday present Em (much envy) keep the news coming.

What?? No snow!! Glad to see that at last Canada is giving you some warmer weather. We think of Canada as the great Outdoors and it certainly looks like it is.

Glenda visited Hi,
Loved the new photo's you have put up - they are just great. Glad to hear that you are still OK. Glenda and the new man in her life (Reg) were with us last week. It was great to see her so happy and Reg is good company and obviously thinks the world of her. Sadly they were only with us for two nights. However it was good to sit, eat and talk for a few hours.

PS did you see our pics on the blog?
A cool 10c here in the UK We have been following your Canada news with interest and I must say I do not envy you. As someone who enjoys the current weather we are having - 10c in February - you will appreciate that talk of lungs freezing etc fills me with absolute horror and dread. Many thanks for your xmas card although only a month has past it feels like it was eons ago. Currently awaiting Glenda's arrival in the UK in early May. We have taken a cottage in Devon that week and are hoping Glenda and Reg will spend a couple of days with us. It will be good to see her again and meet Reg for the first time. By us meeting down there Glenda will be able to visit a few other members of the family at the same time.
Anyway keep the news coming it is always a pleasure to read your journals. If you fancy another trip to Wales we would be very pleased to see you.
Lots of Love - Carole x
