Hi to Everyone where ever you maybe. I'm currently living in a world where the language reads like; how was your turns today, Freezing level is at surface, there Bombing in the Alpine today, did you get any freshies and how fat are your skis under foot. All these saying's are 'day to day' expressions that describe how conditions of the snow are or is as simple as asking how was your day out Skiing. Snow is not measured in cm's, it's measured in feet in this town seeing it gives us a more realistic gage of how deep the snow is. It's a town where "every Skier and Boarder dreams of coming here and dreams of coming back. It's winter in Whistler! Life is good over in the Snow and work has started in Ski ... read more

Well Fall has hit and it's dragging us along for the ride of cold mornings and lots of rainy days, which equals Snow on the Mountain's "yippy". Temperture wise we have been anywhere from -3 - +14's and the long range forecast is saying, lots of cold days coming up with some mixes of Snow and Rain in the Village which is very exciting to. Also with the cold temps means Snow making in the Alpine which will make sure the resort opens on or even ahead of schedule. As for what I've been up to? The anwser is pretty simple, not much! Seeing the Golf course closed a few weeks ago and the Mountain opens in a couple of weeks, the in between time of now has been pretty uneventful! However it has been the ... read more

I hope everyone is doing well!? I still need to pinching myself that I'm back in Whistler, seeing I sometimes wonder if I'm dreaming. So I went and sore my old boss from my first season at Ski School at the Whistler Golf course seeing he does all the Hiring and ended up getting a Job as a Ball Picker at the Driving Range. So basically I'm a moving target that drives a Golf Cart with a metal cage, that when it gets hit sounds like a Fire Cracker going off. I work with a couple of Golf Pro's and after the Range is closed I gerenal go help the guys at the Golf Course was the Carts and close the Course down. As much as I'm taking home $9.85 per hr I'm meeting some fantastic ... read more

Well who would believe that after 15 months I'm finally back on the road. I arrived in SAn Francisco in the afternoon of August the 22nd and was greeted by the Sun for four days, which apparently is uncommon. Our first stop was the Cable Cars which work on the same prinsable as a ski lift upside down seeing the streets are crazy strep. We worked out pretty quick the next morning the tourists don't seem to get out of bet till 9am which worked out perfect for us. The Cable Cars go to a good deal of the tourist spots and is pretty cost effective way of getting around. So we just checked out Fishermans Whalf till sunset. THe next morning we jumped on the open top busses, which we booked on the internet prior ... read more
