Blog
Almost psychic I think, as I was only wondering before getting out of bed this morning how you were coping with your arrival. Good to hear you are straight into the castles.

Hi Gene
No, you and Sue most certainly did not. I can assure you that I did not share my blog details with anybody who was spoken of negatively. It was a pleasure meeting the both of you on the trip!

Oman may be in my To visit list
Incredible photos David, all the places look so beautiful and yes, I agree, much cleaner than India. I guess both have their own beauties in their own different ways. So sorry the tour lost one of their tourist ? . Place looks amazing and definitely a place to visit in the future.

Great blog again
Hi David, you have done it again. Blog is entertaining and I felt I was actually there as I was reading it! I could even feel how busy those places were just by reading the blog. Maybe one day I can do this tour as well. I am glad you had a good time and also glad you didn't get sick. Pd: the Lotus temple does have an air of the Opera House ?

Gold etc.
Fascinating read and great that it seems to be going so well, but what struck me most perhaps was those photos of the sea showing the intense blue of the water. How sad that someone died during his excursion. Looking forward to the next instalment.

The Arabian Sea was amazing. Very blue, and I was surprised by how calm it was. I suppose it's not always so calm though. Yes, it was very sad that the man died. One small consolation was that his last view was spectacular.

Arches
One of the best arches pics I've seen David. Brilliant intertwine of arcs and angles...brilliant.

Enjoyed your blog on Peru
I've enjoyed reading your blog on your Peru trip, especially browsing the pictures; You captured some really nice view points. I visited some of the same places that you did in 2009, so it brought back good memories. Now if only I could've captures half of the pictures that you did :) Which company did you organized your tour with? Is is an Australian-based company? Bolivia is on my wish-list. I've been doing my trips independently, but maybe Bolivia would be good to have someone else takes care of the logistic. I think it's cool that you got the whole Bolivian trip to yourself, well not including your guide and driver.

Thanks!
I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yes, the private tours in Bolivia were great, especially out to the salt flats. The tour companies I booked through were Australian based - Peregrine for Peru and Chimu for Boliva. The tours were run through local companies. I think the Peruvian company was called Peak Adventure and the Bolivian company was Transturin.

Monument for the Dakar rally

Dakar Rally
Oh the memories. We were lucky enough to follow the route of the 2014 Dakar Rally this month using bits from the 2015 Rally as well. Yes they crossed the salt flats in the 2015 rally which led to many getting lost and one died. The message is do not cross the salt flats when flooded...or risk peril!!!

A House on the Reed Island

Lake Titacaca Islands
Having arrived back in Oz from my Peru, Bolivia & Chile sojourn last night time to relive some of my adventures through your blogs before I get around to doing mine. Your great pics really capture the extraordinary beauty of these islands. Gotta say Taquille was a gem. Pity you opted out of the homestay. We did one on Amantani Island and it was a blast.

A House on the Reed Island

Thanks Dave. The other two on my tour enjoyed the homestay, but they both agreed that I wouldn't have so I don't regret going.

Uyuni Salt Flats

Uyuni Salt Flats
Mr. Vincent, I love your photo of the Uyuni Salt Flats. I have been around the Bonneville Salt Flats, and you captured the relief that sometimes appears in the salt, which Hollywood does not always portray. Good luck to you in your Castle Quest! Best, Monique

Love your blog
Hey, love the way you write. You made me laugh as well. I felt I was actually there when you were describing these places! You have so much to see still, enjoy it! Can't wait to read the next blog.

Great trip
Hi, your trip sounds really interesting and you visited so many places! Great to read about it, it's kind of a way for me to see places through someone else's eyes. I still think you should put a book together on your travels! :)
