Glad we meet you in Oaxaca
Hi, not sure if you remember my boyfriend and I but we talk of you often. Spending the night in the cemetery with you we great. We have many photos. We just wanted to say merry Christmas and we hope our parts cross again. Happy Travels
Holy Knife Hello! I only know how to get there and not the directions. There are two possibilities. He's in or near the village of Mambal so there is a possibility you could go there and ask. Take an offering basket with flowers as a gift. Or, go see Wayan at her healing center just up the street from the post office. She took me the first couple times I saw him. Good luck!
Hello Patrick I just saw your comment on my blog. Lots of life experience in there. I'm creating a new site at www.AWalkAboutWithLarry.com for my next trip. Hope you are doing great Patrick! Larry
Kopy Luwak and coffee on Langkawi Hello Amanda! As you can tell, I've been away from my blog for some time. Sorry for the delay in writing back to you. I'm heading to Malaysia, Sumatra and Borneo this winter. I don't think I'll get up as far as Langkawi, what is the name of your coffee shop in case I do?
I hope to have Kopi Luwak on Sumatra and found a plantation that discovered the original trees the Dutch traders smuggled in that were thought lost forever. I may go there as well.
Enjoy! Larry
Wayan's Home Hello Deb,
Very sorry for the delay in writing. I've been away from the blog for ages and somehow missed your message. Yes, Wayan did build the house. It's outside of town on a quiet road. It was empty when I was there and she offered to rent it to me for the price of my local hotel. It felt a bit isolated for me though. Lovely home backing up to rice fields. Take Care!
Coffee Break Indeed Yes, nice break. I'm hoping to have come Kopi Luwak on Sumatra this winter. A plantation there discovered some of the trees originally smuggled over by the Dutch traders, thought gone forever. I may go to that part of Sumatra as well. Take care!
Sorry for the delay.... Hello Jane,
So sorry for the delay. Since I've not been traveling and am setting up a new blog, I haven't checked this site in a while. Were you successful in finding Ketut Arsana? His healing massage is at Ubud BodyWorks. I got an appointment two months in advance and it was the last one he had for the entire month I was there. The "Holy Knife"....Wayan took me. She goes there once every week or two to balance her energy from all the people she works on. Well, that and the energy of envy, etc. she deals with since her business has taken off.

Sorry for the delay... Hello!
Wayan's clinic is close to Bali Buddha and the Post Office in Ubud. She can connect you with healers she goes to for support. There is also a wonderful healer/body worked in Sukawati...Eddy. I have his address somewhere. I've sent a half-dozen people to see him in the past year and he is their favorite! He does acupressure, chases the energy through the body and does a form of "prana" energy work. I felt like I was floating. Hope this is helpful! Best wishes....
hi there, thank god I found your blog! So amazing I thought I would never find the Dr. Wayan's Clinic! Can you tell me the clinic 's address plsease pls pls?
peace!!!

No Dolphin No dolphin, part of the old dock and a sail boat on the horizon. My first trip to Belize was 22 years ago, the last visit to Caye Caulker was in 2002. It's changed a lot since then but again, I remember a sleepy quiet little village. Not more foreign owned businesses and the flavor has changed. Still very peaceful and quiet! Cheers....
Dolphin? Hi,
Beautiful photos, we haven't been back to Belize since the honeymoon in '02. Your pictures make me want to get down there for a month. I'm wondering if that's a dolphin in the pic "sunrise this morning" (longer distance photo).
kopi luwak I used to work with Starbucks Coffee before. Now I open my own coffee shop in Langkawi Island. Thanks for the info about kopi luwak,I reall look forward to have that coffee someday.
How's Alaska? Hello Darin...nice hearing from you. Hope your adventure is going great. My cold is nearly gone after the healing session yesterday. I woke in the middle of the night BURNING up and am sure it was from the body work and the herbs they used with me. My low back is acting up so I'm going to see Dr. Wayan about seeing the healer she goes to when she is not feeling well. Still not feeling very settled in Ubud. Combination of rain very day, my cold, back pain distraction and the place I am staying has LOTS of crowing roosters around it. I mean ALL night long so I took a nap after breakfast this morning and am doing much better.
I'm around the corner from "Bali Buddha"...a very well known restaurant here. Buddha's everywhere over here!
Take care Darin....Larry
looks like you're having fun! Love the photos. Ronald McDonald is everywhere. No escaping the western influnece we have on the rest of the world. Hope your enjoying the rain and the humidity that you love so much! I'm drinking my cup of KOPI even if I'm not in Bali. Be safe as you continue the trip. Beware of the Jedis

As I watched your flight status for 2 days and saw that you finally arrived I wondered just how many new friends you would make along the way....my questions have been answered. Sounds like you are enjoying paradise. I look forward to the news of your next adventure in Bali. You're not the only one enjoying the warmth of the sun, it was 70 here yesterday or whatever day it is where you are! Beware of the Jedi's!!!!

Live in Colorado and love to travel. Traveling has enriched my life, introduced me to great friends around the world, and reminded me there are quieter and more gentle ways to live than we do here in the US. It's such a nice balancing act traveling and bringing that experience back home to my life and work.
Here in Colorado, I'm a facilitator/trainer/consultant and speaker. I help companies and organizations with the people skills part of business: communication, team building, conflict resolution, listening, being creative/innovative, working together effectively, being accountable and a... full info
